As an Irish fan, I think Welsh fans should be excited about where their team is going, 60-70% of their squad will be available for the next two RWC's, they have so many young talented players who are getting loads of experience in this 6N; and to have only lost their last two games by a total of 3 points! I wish Ireland were in the same state, 40% of our lads wont be at the next RWC; and in that 40% is the majority of our stating XV...
Sure, what good is that if they can't win anything. Ireland could pick a young team, and it would hammer that Wales side I'd say Munster Bs could beat them
@@DM-rp9ik Developing a team that will last them 10 years is the good - Ireland are going for consistency 4 years out from a RWC with aging players in key positions - our youngest player in the back-three is 26, all the other teams have multiple players who are 20/21/22... sure we might win a 6N title or two, but we're not getting past the RWC QF...
@user-yq7tt3ii6h The youngest back 3 player is Mack Hanson, who is 25. This is the problem with people looking at the Irish squad on a surface level. There is a player behind the 30 something year old who is as good if not better already. Examples Conan 31 > Doris 25 O'Mahony 33 > Baird 24 Bernie 31 > McCarthy 22 Murray 34 > Casey 24 The thing people aren't seeing is that in most positions, the younger player has the potential to be better or is better already, like Doris and McCarthy. Expect people to be equally shocked when P McCarthy Boyle Osborne Ahern Edogbo Prendergast and Glesson come in over the next 2 years. To replace someone who everyone seems to think won't be replaced. Wales are in a completely different position, not having any players ready to step up or fill in and so have to start from scratch.
Shane Williams. What a great Player. And a great Honest Brain 🧠. I’m Irish living in America. Yes I Played Rugby 🏉 As my Father Did. We are Catholic. In my Father’s Time not Many Irish Catholics played Rugby. Regarded as a Protestant Game. Often Looked Upon as Turncoats. 😳😳🤔. Glad it has Eventually Changed. Ireland Very Interesting as to the Fact that it played as a whole Country. North & South. A Form of INVICTUS WOULD even make a Better Movie in its Day. Sports Before Bolitics 🤔. A Country of 4 Great Provinces. An Under Age System that Hopefully Stands the Test of Time. Now. This Year. Every Year. And Every 4 years for Every World Cup. I’m Tired of Negativity. I’m Tired of Silly Reporter Questions & Coaches and Players Having to Answer These Questions in the Limelight of Live Coverage. And Also these Commentators Commenting Before/During & After Matches. Some are Good Example. Brian O’Driscoll. Wiser Ones like Ronan O’Gara Would not do it. 🤔🧐. Anyway. Good Luck to Wales in Building a Future Great Team. I Believe Ireland will win a Double Grand Slam. Take it While it’s Going. All Other Teams will Get Their Turn In Time. That is what Makes It a Great Championship. Good Health to All Teams and Great Memories to All Spectators Of Great Games. Win or Lose.
The ref was poor in England game. Some puzzling decisions taken. In Scotland game Berry I think was put into a bad situation, he said held up so went to TMO. McNiece was problem as he was indecisive and contradicted himself. Cannot blame Berry.
Well Berry was in possibly best position he could be without intereferring in play. Seriously check out clips of it. He also did what probaly 99% of refs do which is if not 100% sure then go to TMO. I'm not a fan of his as such but in thise case I'm not sure what else he could do. @@jamesm9995
The TMO followed the rules - his hands were tied by refs on-field decision! Once the former call was made only incontrovertible evidence for the obverse call would change that. He tried (I thought) but the replay evidence simply was not there to give everyone the call they wanted/felt should have been made.
@@drdecco1 Not in this instance I'm afraid. McNiece intially said yes ball is grounded so Berry then said "should I change onfield decision to try"? McNiece then subsequently backtracked and said no conclusive evidence. When Berry said onfield no try then TMO should look for conclusive evidence to overturn then advise accordingly. He didn't, he confused matters.
