SIYI FT24 Teardown: Long-Range radio for $99? 

Cheaper than that is QCZEK LRS + Flysky radio! I am currently using this configuration and so far the record is 8km beacuse my video breaks down. It has its own limitations but its really cheap and fun to built. Thanks for the review and all of you work for the community!

I would bet that tape is an rf shield of some kind. I've seen it used under gps chips in cheap camera drones

Sx1280 has compatibility for BLE

OpenTX? No one can help if beginner brought this TX. and beginner no need long range. i recommand T-Lite or something if newbie want start FPV.
