I would hope at this point you realized that your description of the wiring diagram was incorrect. You do connect the negative to the negative and then the positive to the positive but you made it sound like you would take one side voice coil straight to the amplifier when that's not correct, you actually would take the negative of one voice coil and then the positive of the other voice coil and direct that into the amplifier to give you a 2ohm load if you have a dual 4ohm subwoofer. This also would apply if you have a dual 2ohm subwoofer and you're trying to get a 1ohm load they would be both wired in parallel.

I would have to say I had to of them they did ok for the price and one thing I didn’t like in a prefab they hit the highs and the lows but once you put them in a box build for specs they just hit the lows that’s it

i have a 12 inch Kicker CompR and the sub blew out today and i was wondering if this sub would fit in that Kicker box. the website says the box has a TD 11 1/4" BD 14 7/16" W 18 3/8" H 16".
