YOUR HEIGHT AND WEIGHT DONT MATTER JUST GET A SIZE YOU LIKE XD Start with an 8.0 and decide from that if you want to go smaller or larger

@Jackie Vega .I think that your best bet too buying a board is going to a local skate shop. When most people buy there first board they go to a shop to see, and feel the different sizes and shapes of the boards. Considering that you have smaller feet you may feel better on a smaller width board, but it's really up to your how comfortable you are on the board

i ordered a complete plan b board online, iv only skated a couple times on my friends old board but im excited to start!

thank you! ive been looking for days typing in stuff like 'the best skateboards for street' and ive found nothing but did get some boards in mind. this video has told me everything i need at the moment, you told it so i could understand it to, some people try to be to technical. really glad you decided to put this out though anyway! is there any brand you would reccomend for buying street skateboards? or doesnt it work like that i just know i cant use wide board they feel miles to heavy on me

Birdhouse skateboards (Tony's brand) are great. Penny/retro boards are great for cruising but not really designed for tricks. Hope that helps!

hey i have a question ive been riding huge wheels for ah while and ive and i really like the feel for them for tricks and grinds but i keep hearing that the little wheels make a huge difference but i rode them and i couldnt do shit on it any advice?

I am 6"1 and have a shoe size of 12-13 (whether the shoe runs small or large) I am planning on purchasing a custom separate: Baker 8.25" Independent Stage 10 149mm Bones 54mm 100s Speed Metal Slayer Bearings Mob Grip CCS Hardware I think it is acceptable for me, although I currently ride a 8" with 7.5" trucks. I desire more stability for landing but in the sense of more room on the board (i.e. width). Does this seem like a good match for my intentions? (street, park, flips, grinds)

Both. Theyre called speed rings and combined with bearings spacers they allow you to tighten your axel nut all the way down while keeping the bearing rolling smoothly. this lenghtens the life of your bearings and increases stability while keeping your wheels quieter.,

I'd really go on what trucks seem to turn best for you as all trucks grind well. It's worth remembering that putting Grindking kingpins in your trucks will drastically reduce kingpin height & stop hang ups from the kingpin occuring.

i bought a complete but it said 'black ruckus trucks' and i got silver ones, also the griptape was over the screws and bolts. what's with that?

i need some help, im 5'4" and i wear a size 7-7 1/2 shoe. What size board should i get? how narrow or curved should it be? im planning to do some street skating and some skate park skating so what height trucks should i get? and what size wheels and how soft or hard should they be? also any brand suggestions for the stuff above? i would really appreciate the help thanks :)

They're for if you like skating high up, or if you have big wheels and when you turn they snag on the deck, the risers obviously raises the trucks from the decks and stops that :)

Blanks are great for a beginner as they allow you to get skating without spending too much. Once you decide that you love skateboarding & know what size is comfortable for you you can then go out & support your favourite board brand by buying a graphic deck.

Custom boards are a good way too go if you know how to put them together, all the things you've chosen sound good but I would recommend redz bearings though. Also a good idea would be too buy a skate tool.

Maybe try an 8.25, it's bigger so should help with the heel hanging off but isn't too big a step that would take ages to get used to. Hope that helps!

I currently ride an 8.125 and my shoe size is 10 will there be a big difference if i buy a size 8?

A 7.5 may well be ok but a 7.75 or even an 8 might offer a bit more stability. Best bet is to stand on a few boards, maybe try a 7.5 this time & then get a 7.75 next time. Eventually you'll decide on what size is best for you.
