Skateboards I rode for the 250 mile video

I don’t remember it being an issue. I’ve since gone back to speed vents with the Hydra just because I’ve been trying to pump more.

I’ve done over 100 miles in a day I think 4 times now. It’s a lot, but totally doable pushing with one foot. If you want to pump or use a paddle too, I’d have different and much more advice. If just pushing you want low and comfortable, like a double drop longboard. Next would be wheels. 80+mm and durometer depends on how rough the terrain will be. 85mm Seismic Speed Vents in Mango are great all around and very trusted. Trucks can be anything for pushing that are the right width. TKP may be most comfortable for you because you’re used to street skating. All that is if you’re going to go longboard. As a street skater, if you want to ride something you’re more accustomed to there is no better proof of what works than Chad Caruso’s setup for the Skate Across America. Big egg shape deck, TKPs and the Seismic 68mm wheels. Way less comfortable than the longboard, but way cooler in my opinion. Part of 100 miles you need to put thought into as much as the setup is hydration and nutrition. Even at a slow pace it will be stress your body isnt used to. Go in prepared and take care of yourself during the event. Good luck, you can do 100 miles.

@SKATEBOARDRIDE thank you for the response, as far as training goes do you think if a person was comfortable doing 25 miles without any issues, a jump to 100 would be too much? Or should i do 25 comfortable with 1 or 2, 50 mile bumps in between. Im familiar with the pain of pushing hard, i was army infantry in my younger days... dang but that was 25 years ago now🤔

Everyone’s different. I tend to think if you can do 25 physically, you can likely do 100 physically. Mentally you just have to be okay with being uncomfortable and not quit. If you have the time though I’d definitely do 50 first, if nothing more than a confidence booster and because skateboarding far is fun.

Im up to 30 miles pretty regularly now, i went with the loaded fathom board and lowered it 1/4 inch. I may go to tensors to drop it even more

I have ordered them from ccs and from warehouse skateboards in the past. Make sure you find the right size for your application though. I like the 8.5. They are a little harder to find.

Yours are the way they are made to to be mounted stock. I flip mine around to make it a little narrower.

I’ve had a few, favorite was the Loaded x Unlimited setup but they’re not doing that anymore. Currently have a Bustin Sportster, very fun on occasion although most times I’d rather go push around on a non electric board.
