Really nice work! Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts. As a sketchbook keeper myself, I agree with you... digital's great, but sketching never goes out of style!
I think manual sketching (rather than taking photos or creating images with technology) helps us tp remember what we see better---we notice more of what is there as well.
