about 2 months ago i gave up on art and put all of my sketchbooks away. i wasn't happy with my art style and i hated forcing myself to continue because it was so frustrating (i know, it sounds dumb lmao) but i would sit there and draw for hours until one day i finally gave up. i still watched other art videos but i just wasnt inspired or motivated to get back into it. i was convinced i wasnt going to draw again and it was bittersweet but then i came across this video and oh my gosh ahakahsjs idk how but this video made me want to pick up my sketchbook again after a while and honestly thank you so much 💓💗💖💞💕💕💓💖💓💗💖💕 i really enjoy your artsyle and i plan on binge watching all your other videos for more inspo 😭

i also struggle with my age! i turned 31 in march and even seeing these numbers in this sentence feels so weird!!! 31!!! i'm amazed by the fact that i'm still alive at 31! i had a big accident when i was 23 years old. nobody expected me to survive but i did! i was broken from the bottom half off my back to my toes so i am in a wheelchair now. because off this i can also relate to missing the structure that uni or work provides. now i have no structure at all and that has a huge impact on my mental health! i wish i could find a way to integrate some kind off ritme in my days and finding a way to actually stick to it!

i completely get the school/uni thing. i get really really sad during school holidays and always miss the structure and routine of school and i get super down whenever i have nothing to do xx you're not the only one

Very nice relaxed video! I totally can relate to you missing university. Since I graduated and work full time I miss learning new things and being creatively challenged. It makes me really sad sometimes because I can't go back to these 3 years. I love the way you draw hair btw.

I agree with you! Although I'm not in uni (yet, currently in the final year of high school). I'm always so excited when going back to school and I dread holidays/vacation because I don't have much to do!

Understand mine too! I was just complimenting her :) I'm an artist myself so i know that practice is important. Of course you can never stop improving but that doesn't mean you can't be talented anyway. I really like her art! No one starts of with talent ofc, we all draw awful drawings as a child (and there's nothing wrong with drawing badly) but Pypah is very clearly past that and her work is great! Plus I'm sure it did take her a lot of practice to get like this

I get the same thing, Pypah! I used to be like that during middle school whenever we had break. One time I said to my friend that sometimes I get so bored during break that I miss school. Then she looked at me all crazy and asked me if I was mental. It is just a routine that I'm used to (especially now that I started high school and get a ton of homework) and you don't really know what else to do during the 1-2 week breaks and 2-3 month break since you're not busy like you were anymore. But otherwise, you are such a great artist, you give me inspiration to draw, and I hope you continue be successful with your work.

I just turned 20 and i relate so much! It does feel weird :D I also think I'm close enough to recognizing my own art style, at least i hope so. Yes yes yes! I have been on a medical leave of absence from school for like 2 and a half years now OOF and i am so excited to go back and learn and study again and go to the college library and read any and everything. I love you ok bye 💜

I can relate to your point about not having a schedule and stuff. I never went to uni but I’ve been out of work for about 2 months now. I’ve just been staying inside watching your videos and Insta posts 😂 That’s literally it. I don’t even go outside because it’s like... inside is warm even if there’s nothing to do

After i graduated from university 6 years ago, I really missed it and still do. Its why I started sketching and painting actually, since I was so bored after work. Now I game, workout and paint to fill my time. Happy 20th btw, Im turning 30 in a few weeks. Going to treat myself to a trip to the art store :)

Pypah's Art My husband is Portuguese too but doesn't have the accent. People always ask if hes Canadian because they know its not British (we live in England) or American so they always go to Canadian for some reason!

Oh man I wish I could say the same for my uni but we're complete opposites. This year, I literally had to take a semester off of school because I realized it was not helping my social anxiety at all. I am by no means self-diagnosing (first because it's not recommended and second because I have not consulted a psychotherapist yet) but God knows having an INTENSE fear of leaving my house alone and showing myself in public is a not normal fear. I thought that if I'd be in uni by myself and act like a responsible adult, I could fight off my anxiety bit by bit. It did on some occasions, but by 3rd year I was at my limit. The distress kept building up day by day, and I just broke down really hard. Lasted for 3 straight months. Dont wanna go back there anymore.

I loved this video so much! Wow, you said you draw 2-3 hours every day, that's a lot. I did this in the beginning of the month but I need to slow down because my hand is starting to hurt. I needed to make rest days. Have you ever had pain if you draw? Have you got any tips for pain in the hand or the back? With the uni thing, I am totally agree :D I will go to art high school next schoolyear (at September) and I am really excited about that. I am a little bit scared because of my hand but hope for the best. I did a lot of things in this summer, but I want to go back to school because with my family we worked a lot, they have a garden with full of vegetables and I hate that, especially when we need to stay in the kitchen with good old vinegar.
