In this video we go through what building our yacht, the HH 8801, during COVID was like. With some thoughtful planning and some patience we managed to do this with minimal delay! Check it out and thanks for watching!
To have to build a boat like that had to be more than just a bit challenging. But from just the very small look at the outside of the boat, I, think, with the situations that we were all placed in with this pandemic, the boat l0ooks fantastic. And I cannot wait to see the interior
Despite the challenges of all the effects COVID had going on around the world and affecting every business your build seems to have come out exceptionally well. My sister, unfortunately, started the build of her new home at the worst possible time with material costs skyrocketing and delay after delay in getting product and tradesmen.
Hello, thank you for the comment. I agree there was some clever thinking on both side for us. I am sorry to hear about your sisters project. We had another one in Canada going on simultaneously that also went awry.
I am glad that everything seems to be coming our very well for you & Jamie....excellent research and planning is to blame for that one. However, RU-vid has still not caught up with the times as their Covid Banner makes itself very hard to miss here in the U.S.A.
Interesting when you talk about when you could or could not see the boat and in an earlier episode showed Jamie next to the keel for scale. Boats out of water can seem behemoth anyway, did the scale of your physical project leave a lasting impression from that day?
Yes, it absolutely did. More so when we were standing on the bows or the fly looking around the rest of the factory. I assure you, HH is happy to have it our of the shed and in their marina.
