I like to picture they're 3 friends living in 3 different countries, fiercely competitive with each other and always video calling from with the beach or the slopes or the stake rink to show off a new move or challenge each other... But when one of them ends up in a competition the others will always be watching to cheer them on

A small thing but I appreciate the little stomach roll you put on the third girl. Thats very realistic for the pose she's in. Way to crush unrealistic body expectations!

You should totally make a coloring book with black and white sketches like this! I would definitely buy one :)

I think that the roller derby pose kind of make it look like she's skating backwards!! Which while not the intention, I personally think it's really cool haha

I need to get back into the habit of drawing everyday. Your art is absolutely beautiful and inspires me to make my own characters! Last night, I dreamt of a girl who had balloons for hair and could style her hair into any balloon shape possible! When her hair popped, she would pinch her nose and exhale to make new balloon hair grow. She could even choose the color she wanted! I think I'll try drawing her :) Edit: Thanks for the comments, I'm happy you guys like my idea! I'm going to get my first drawing tablet in a week and I'm planning to sketch her then! I've always loved drawing, despite not being very skilled, but I'm hoping the tablet will make it easier to sketch what I envision.

I can't draw with long nails let alone write a simple note, so thats definitely another talent to draw with long nails.

The first looks like she could be the main character to an early 2000s TV show. Besides the high, cinched ankle anyways, since that's a more modern style choice. It's just reminiscent of Brats or Winx style and art. Just feeling nostalgic.

AAH THEY'RE SO CUTE I need to calm down- I really love these characters though! The art style is so precious for them and it's definitely improved and advanced if you look back a long time ago!

The last drawing you did would look really cool as a doll. The roller skates would be a a fun project for you to do.

YAAAAAAS ever since you said you were posting this today I was sitting at the ready! Before color they all kinda look like Pokemon trainers minus their pokeballs, especially surfer girl! Super cute! I love that a cat assistant came to assist during your drawing! Pinto and Junpyo cuddling at the end is probably the cutest cat clip you've had I think.

I am a roller girl and you choose a really cool pose! In reality, the rollerperson you drew would have much more gear on, such as elbow pads, wrist guards, knee pads, and a mouth guard. However, not everyone wears gear when skating casually, and I think you really sold it! The drawings are super cool, I’m a fan of your work!

I struggle with sketching and this made it look a lot simpler than whatever tf I was doing 😄 I love your concepts!!

I was litteraly watching your old videos thinking: "Man, I miss those sketch with me videos... I hope she keeps on doing them" AND THEN!

I very nearly commented "there is no way she could skate in flip flops!" Then you changed it

The balance is off on the third one if she's trying to actually skate, when you're bent and skating the weight shifts to the toes, but it's close. If her back leg was slightly more straight, she would be coming up into the roll after speeding up and if her front leg was slightly more bent, she would be leaning into the "run" to speed up. This depicted pose would probably work better for roller blades than skates balancing the back foot on the front wheel and the front foot gliding on the four. Roller blades have larger wheels and a back break that makes it more possible while skates have two toe breaks that would be in the way of trying that on even derby skates. It's a really good depiction though for being without a reference, I only know its off because I grew up on both skates and blades.

You should make a comic book. Your style would look amazing in the traditional black and white comic book style.

A tip for keeping graphite or charcoal in your sketchbook looking nice: use hairspray! If you just do a quick spray over the drawing and let it dry it will keep your drawing looking exactly as when you finished. It works better than any sealant I've tried

Long flowy hair is one of the things I enjoy learning how to draw. It's really fun figuring out sections, how they move depending on the pose and also type of hair, and it usually ends up looking nice assuming I don't mess up so bad even with just a few pencil strokes here and there.

Awesome work! I love that they're all women of color too. It says a lot about your drawing skills that I could see that even before you colored them in.

When sketching the first one, I saw the line on the front of the surfboard as part of her arm because of where it happens to be in relation to her forearm/hand and now I can't unsee the janky broken arm xD I love watching your doll videos and this is a fun little change!

One of the reasons super hero girls in comics had long, flowing hair (and indeed why so many wore capes) was that it was such a good way for the artists to infer movement in their artwork, making the images more dynamic and impactful. (I agree about the colouring book, too. But then I love my colouring books) 😺😻😸

Bug fan here, I have a question, a couple of suggestions (If you get the joke there I will very happy, also people in the comments if you get it let me know) My question is, did you have a reference photo for this or inspiration from another video? And second, y suggestion, These when you put them together looked straight out of a coloring book, I think you should make some of your drawings into a coloring book because they are uncolored and look great! My second suggestion, could you possibly make one of these into a doll? I know that this is a doll channel (if you didn't know then you didn't look at her name) and I would love to see if how I imagined them as dolls are similar to how you would. Anyway, Love ya ByE!
