I must say, this is one of my favorite art commentaries of all time. It was really refreshing to hear your thoughts and perspectives on various topics and relate to them in some way. Usually, people don't express their negative feelings about art commentaries and such, so it was really cool to hear about your struggles, opinions, and honest feelings about your art while understanding how you feel. I enjoy listening to videos like these as I'm usually the one talking, so it was nice to just unwind and listen for once. Your words not only helped me relax, but also helped me clarify my thoughts. i didn’t have a hyperfixation of my own for a bit, but i saw the new spider verse movie and DUDE IM OBSESSEDDD- you should see it! especially if you end up being in art block, it’s such an inspiration! i could talk about spider verse for hours im so happy about it existing. i have an art tiktok, but i’m hoping to get an art youtube soon!

I would just like to add to what you said about the rendering process meme as I also had a bit of a similar experience when I was younger. I wouldn’t draw noses when I was in primary school and kids would always pick on me for that to the point where I actually started drawing noses which I hated and for like 5 years after that I still drew noses which made me very unhappy with my art style but then I realised “wait I’m making this art for me not for others” and a stopped drawing noses and I know it sounds dramatic over just drawing a nose but ever since this change in my style my art has improved massively so if anyone tells anyone that the way they draw something is ugly just don’t listen draw things that make you happy

youve got the right idea just having a youtube and pinterest, getting a twitter/insta/tiktok/etc for your art specifically is soooo bad. as you said, it is tiring to keep them up!! but also for whatever one piece of art inspires you to draw, there will be a billion other reasons to make you feel awful. I just found you channel and its so nice to listen too while drawing! I graduated last year and totally feel you on being in art spaces with professionals 😭 I feel so behind all of a sudden!! Your art inspires me to work on mine even more, although thats what im wanting to do over this summer, I also have never watch one of ur videos but it inspires me more then any I've seen.You deserve so much more popularity for your art skills, but if your stressed out then I would recommend taking a break from yt for probably like a month or 2 or even more if your really stressed out. :) Also you got a new sub!
