I really love that you are drawing reference from right outside your window! Can't believe it took 4-6 months! I was looking back at your earlier sketches and it's amazing how your style has become so tight and confident. Wonderful work as always! Thank you for sharing! Hoping you and your family are well. ~ Mark

So fun watching you sketch and the loose style of painting. Love the granulation effects on the road and the way all the colors run and blend nicely.

Great idea, I never would have thought of painting a construction site, but it actually looks really interesting, there’s a lot going on 😊

Wonderfully done, as always. I love scenes of every-day things. I hope the construction finishes soon so you get some quiet!

Well done Teoh!!! I prefer just jumping straight in with ink on my sketches. With pencil, I would find myself constantly erasing and being too critical. I've learned to accept errors in my sketchbook. However, I will use a pencil for the preliminary sketch for commissioned pieces.

Looking at the clip I can see why the construction is so slow, most of the construction appears to consist of standing still with hands on hips or arms crossed.

I really like how you used less saturated colours on this one. Vivid orange, red, yellow, etc gives a cartoonish appearance. This was spot on!

love it. Is that a vintage fountain pen nib? I absolutely love my vintage gold Waterman flex nib and use it for sketches like these in my Boston Safety Pen made by Noodlers - it's a match made in heaven.

Hello, I'm a beginner website designer, should I take Samsung C24FG73FQI 23.5 144hz curved? or should I take something bigger like 32 inch with 2k resolution.
@teohyc
@teohyc Год назад
Curved is good for gaming, maybe movies. But don’t get curved for art. 32 inch with 2K will have noticeable pixelation. 27 inch is nicer size

nice to see your sketch after a long time. though the subject seems to be quite boring! 🙈
@edzejandehaan9265

I respectfully disagree. I think it is quite an interesting subject. It's lively, people and machines at work, all kinds of colors. Compared to a lot of regular urban sketches ("just buildings"") there is quite a lot going on...
@teohyc
@teohyc Год назад
It is a mundane subject. But when it comes to drawing, everything can interesting. I wish I could sit nearby to draw close up but that would be too dangerous or noisy.
