if you toggle on x-ray while you are moving you can more easily precisely move things from points in different plains in reference to the problem you were having around 4:00 ish
You probably cover it in a more advanced tutorial, when you need to move something on two different axes and set it at a certain point I found that if you click on the point you want and then select the orbit tool and hover over the point you want to move to and then reselect the move tool it will move right to that point.
hey there, I started to use Google Sketch 8 and I think it's pretty awesome - But I have a problem I made a group and wanted to move it upward in the blue direction, but it doesn't find the blue axis. it always tries to move it in the green/red direction and it's starting to get on my nevers after 10 minutes of trial, you have any tipps how I can move it more exactly?
At 2:33 you say you are moving the object without using either of your hands. Do you have telekinetic powers?? You have to be either touching the keyboard or mouse to ACTUALLY move an object on the screen. :)
