This was basically the power ballad of my senior year in high school. Sebastian and Skid Row perfected the power ballad in this one. Nothing like music to take you back.

Lzzy blew out a little bit right near the end. She's still awesome though!. I would love for her to be the permanent vocalist for skid row. I love them and I love her.
If SKID ROW does a CD with her it absolutely will be played on the radio By right she is an amazing musician guitarist singer She with that band can re start there career Sabatian should worry
@@tj3859 Well, you took my meaning the wrong way. It’s obvious not karaoke as she does not have a teleprompter with the words for her to follow along with. That was my only point. Like/don’t like Lzzy Hale or Skid Row, doesn’t really matter.
@@alanv_7815 I guess my confusion is, what qualifies them as a tribute band? If you no longer have the orginal singer, does that make you a tribute band? Was Van Halen with Sammy Hagar also a tribute band? What about Sabath with Dio? Was that a tribute band?
@@slyjokerg I'm 42 and can sing higher. She got the job to sing for Skid Row, she should be able to hit the notes. She's not bad, just not a great fit for these songs imo.

LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of people who are 40 can't hit notes like they used to. Plus, who said she ever could? Did she sing I Remember You when she was 20? That is pretty laughable, as she is 400 times better than Sebastian Bach trying to sing his own songs today. 2. They knew exactly what she could do when they brought her on. She was great. The only people who have said anything to the contrary are Bach fanboys. Watch his recent clips. He sounds like shit when he sings, and half the time, he has the audience do the singing. He is just a small step above what David Lee Roth and Vince Neil have been doing in recent years.
Good rule of thumb: don't try to cover a Sebastian Bach tune from when he was young. You may kill it and still pale in comparison. Lzzy sounds far better than Sebastian now. But, she's not close to him in his prime. Still a solid cover and a fantastic song.
I hate to say this, but...as likable as she is, she's not quite hitting (nor tackling) all the higher notes and it falls short when she screams / distorts her voice. It just sounds like generic female rock singing. Definitely a good effort though. But as a vocalist myself, this just misses the mark a bit. Besides Sebastian, I still prefer Eric as the second best
100%. Too many simps in the comments section here. She did ok, but at her current age she should be hitting the high notes with no real struggle. She just doesn't seem to have that range that Bach did in his prime.
@@brainycabde Agreed. She's barely 40 but even when she speaks in interviews her voice is often hoarse. Anyway... It's fine if they're just using her as a temporary fill-in. If they do decide to go the route of using a female vocalist, they would still need to find a more capable female singer with a more clear and piercing tone, along with the ability to "scream and distort". It's all love though ❤️🎤🎸
The comments are hilarious, Lizzy can sing ,but come on let's be real, it's a female cover band of Skid Row with her singing....pay your $100 for mediocre Skid Row songs. Get real, this is what we see on stages all over Vegas.
So, when I heard they'd recruited a woman to replace Sebastian, I thought she'd at least be one who could hit his high notes. Nope. Her voice is lower than his. A disappointment.
