Amber and yellow also help with glare at night. That's one thing i love about the yellow shade i put on my modular 3, at night it knocks down the glare and helps improve night time visibility, especially in inclement weather when there's a lot of glare that comes back off the falling snow. Ive been thinking about "upgrading" to the Exome simply because of the breath box design and the way the sunshade stores. The modular breath box works great but adjusting it is a pain, and the chin curtain isn't the greatest. I had to modify mine and make it longer. I got wind burn on chin one year and had a large abscess form as for the fogging issue, i only ever have to plug in on sub -25 days, the heat from my face would cause condensation when i would lift up the visor to check something on my map and then frost up on the inside of the visor, other then that when you're moving the breath box design on these buckets is fantastic and doesn't really require a plug in
Thanks for the review! I find my BRP Oxygen helmet to often be too warm. Have you tried both to compare? How' does your voice sound over the helmet communicator? Is it muffled?
I’ve heard that from others about the Oxygen. I haven’t personally tried it though. Slightly muffled while using the breath box and also lower volume but others could still hear me. I’d say maybe a 20% decrease in quality and volume while using the breath box.
Snow is still VERY scarce right now but it is snowing so let’s hope it doesn’t stop for a while so that we can ride at some point this season 🫣 Last season I used GoPro 8 Black
