Beautiful spread of CK3's!!! Thanks for sharing your collection Jason!!! Great to see others out there still representing the Doo triples on the trails.
thats fuckin awesome man. those machines are pristine and still runners! you hardly ever see a sled with close to 10000 miles on it let alone almost 30000. keep up the great work those sleds are awesome. definitely need to hear a video of them all running.
@@jasonpalka9060 cant wait to hear those beasts. Ive got a 97 myself, f chassis first year of the 809. a few ck3's are in my future for sure and i can only hope their half as clean as these sleds
I added more videos of some of the sleds running. I will try to put more on of maybe some drag racing but winter is not cooperating so well, thank you.
Very nice sleds. When those were new i wouldnt take them seriously. Too nose heavy and noisey. I was always a big bore 2 cylinder guy. Mxz 670, 700 etc. In hingsight i would kill for one of your sleds now. So much more to them than i used to think. This video is fun for me because im a ski doo man all the way bit im a closet cat guy too. Thnx for sharing uour hard work!
Yes we started out as twin guys also but got tired of wearing out clutches and drive line parts when the triples came out we switched and never looked back. We can not seem to wear them out. Funny how the magazines use to complain about the weight of the triples but they say nothing about these new huge top heavy snowmobiles, ours parked next to them look like 3/4 scale sleds.
I own a couple 800 skidoo wish mine look that good also have zrt 600 and 800 polaris strom 800 and rxl650 I love my triples been selling twins only have a few left
Wow that's super impressive, all so clean! So jealous of being able to keep them in a temp controlled garage, that's huge. How much oil do you take with you since it seems like the higher milage sleds all had the oil injection setup removed?
Thank you, sleds get pulled into a climate-controlled garage to get thawed out every night after riding, we just keep up with them so you don't get to far behind on the clean-up.
Awesome... I bought one new in 98... best most reliable toy I've ever purchased.. got the new Turbo ones now. great engineering but not the same awesome character.....
Awesome collection Jason! I'm just venturing into CK3 territory with my latest purchase this summer, a 99 Z with Crankshop pipes. But mine isn't all nice like any of your sleds. Apparently it has 98 engine and wiring. I put in a mechanical reverse chaincase . I have some questions that you might be able to help with: 1. Temp gauge isn't working, common thing? I've googled but didn't find much. 2. Shock recommendation? I have shot HPG's that i think isn't rebuildable. Are there other options from like "early 2000 Ski-doo MXZ's? Much more common here in Sweden where I live. 3. Noticed most of the clutches are out for "summerizing". Is that a thing on these? Thanks in advance and greetings from Sweden! Looking forward to more videos!
temp gauge not working is not a common problem but we did have one go bad after overheating, also check for a broken wire by sender. shocks mxzs have longer shocks, take yours off and measure between eyelets 99-03 should be 15 1/2" we run ours like the 98 16 1/2" for trail riding. we pull the clutches apart after each season to clean clutches and relax the springs. thanks so much, jason.
@@jasonpalka9060 Many thanks Jason 👍 Why the chaincase mod then? Common for them to granade or are you just hunting kilograms? Sorry in advance if I'm asking too many questions 🙈
Very curious about the electric water pump mod!!! Any info or direction to gather info would be amazing. I assume its as straight forward as installing as aftermarket one on a hot rod but still figured Id ask
it is quite involved as you have to remove the factory pump and all its workings and i added a dedenbear electric pump. i added a lithium battery with all the wiring, switches, and charging system of an electric start mach z. make sure you do not forget to turn it on, i put a light up by the gauges so you can see when it is working.
So, unless it’s an illusion, it appears you trimmed off the upper “lip” of most windshields or are they aftermarket inserts? Also, can these tinted windshields be wet sanded or polished to remove minor smudges, dulled out spots and scratches? If so, what method would you recommend for best results? Thanks
yes they are trimmed down factory windshields. we have had success polishing out minor scuffs and blemishes. none of or scratches required wet sanding but i do not see why you could not do it, just make sure you finish off with 2000 grit. we will buff them with a wool pad and heavier compound and work your way down to a foam pad and finer swirl remover polish.
I have a 2001 tech plus i bought new. My son took the mpem module off it and it got lost. Can you help me find a way to fix my sled? It has low mileage and I stretched it to 136 and i loved it. Thanks! I have a 22 Mach Z now but miss my 2 stroke
our sleds are really never started in cold weather after sitting outside, they are pulled into a heated garage every night. i am sure they would also be hard to start if they sat out all night. try to keep the engine warm if this is your case (engine heater or electric blanket)
I'm not so sure those are never ridden new sleds with old speedos put in DAM thats cleaner than new , how about doin mine ,, you must never sleep , nice sleds
thanks so much, Northern Illinois. yes snowmobiles are registered in Wisconsin we do not ride in Illinois as there are to many road crossings , culverts, and fences.
yes it will be fine, we just did it to a friends 800 just like yours. you will have to roll the chain case if you want to run studs. @@connorbarkie5013
Thanks for the info Dale...Here in Ohio when we get our 5 inch annual snowfall, we pull the tarp off, shake the mouse 🐀 nest out of the air box and go ditch bagging. No time to install the clutches, the snow will be gone by then.
They just look that way because we take care of them but as I said in the video they are the only snowmobiles we have. Each one gets ridden at least a thousand miles a season!
Wonderful collection. These are in immaculate condition, obviously maintained to extremely high standards with love. Thanks for sharing, this has become my favorite video, l love these sleds.
