It was 150 feet. Say his fall time was 3 seconds. Earth’s gravity is 9.8 m/s, roughly. Using a calculator, it turns out that if he fell for 3 seconds, then the distance of the fall would be 144.8 feet.
@Mack Not necessarily. Adrenaline can make you very energetic, but it can also enhance your concentration and 'disbale' your more extreme motions, allowing you to appear unusually calm.
Mack your *body* doesn’t calm down but your mind tends to clear itself and focus a lot better making you appear calm... it also seems like the guy cut after the fall to the moment he picked up his camera again
What's ski nation, I've just fell off this 50 meter cliff you would not believe, I was like 'woah, but before we get into it here's a word from our sponsor
I swear to god. I cropped this Profile pic of elmo exactly that way on instagram. And after one comment, two guys already copied it. Now i see you with the exact same cropping, wtf xD what a fckin considence
If you play this video on repeat it’s like a unfortunate saved spot on some skiing game. Where it sends you back right when you fall outta bounds but your stuck in the respawn loop
People survived falling from more than 10.000 feet because they lamded on snow. If you find yourself in a situation where your parachute dosent work, the best chance of surviving is landing on snow. This wasnt letal imo.
Dorin Oprea uhhhhh no. Not at all. The only reason anybody has survived a fall from that far is a result of them becoming unconscious, allowing them to fall naturally.
I like this because I have those exact same skis (DPS Wailer 112s) and went off a smaller cliff in a complete whiteout, prayed on my way down, same reaction.
