Skiing Stairway To Heaven at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

In this video we show you the unbelievably majestic scenery from the top of the Stairway to Heaven chair at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort on a beautiful cloudless day in January 2021. We ski from the top of the gondola into crystal bowl and then ride the chair to ski down Sliver Lining and then on down to base for lunch.

Wow, this is the most awesome place on earth. Our oldest son would love to snowboard there. He did some snowboarding in Japan when he was stationed there. I will never get to see these mountain slopes so thank you for the videos 😊😊

Apparently the skiing and snowboarding in Japan is amazing. Your son was lucky to experience it. Hopefully you just may be able to come visit one summer and see them in all there glory.

Nice, peaceful vid, thanks. For those that haven't been, this is footage of skiing the Stairway to Heaven chairlift. Stairway to Heaven is a stairway at the top of that lift that leads to the DBL Diamond bowl adjacent the chair.

Hi Bruce Well Tuesday was an amazing powder day. Knee deep off the top of Stairway and still boot deep mid mountain. Unfortunately the visibility wasn’t that good so no GoPro footage. I GUESS it’s why KHMR is called THE CHAMPAGNE POWDER CAPITAL OF CANADA 🇨🇦.
