Matt Buchanan describes the differences between two different skimboard models called the AMP-X and the FUSE-X. These are two of Zap Skimboards most popular models and typically ridden by intermediate or advanced riders.
can you do a video on timing when going for a wave? Should the wave that crashed before the one you want to ride be moving up towards you when you drop your board or moving back out to sea? Or does it matter? Maybe touch on when to water drop and when to drop on wet sand.....Thank you for all the info you've dropped already. I've already started trying to drop my board the way you do and I can tell it has the potential to give me more speed once I'm as comfortable with it as doing the back foot on first method
yea forsure it will be coming soon. for the time being, some tips on that would really depend on where you live and the conditions you skim. Almost always, a water drop on the east coast is more prevalent and going to benefit you more..... so perfecting your drop-step will really help you with the water drop. Out west the water drop will be less prevelant but still really beneficial. Water-dropping for sidewash is crucial. It is pretty much a must. I'll touch up more on timing next video. But perfecting your drop-step is going to really help perfect your water drop.... it basically just a more challenging drop-step but really beneficial when running for set waves
