When I make a skinner blend, before it ble ds it gets to thin and to long, even if I use enough clay. I've tried to push it but it runs the edges. Any help?
Hi Liz! You could also try using a width limiter (an unopened block of clay could work). In my latest video on skinner blends I demonstrate how I do this. If the clay is too thin, it would be really difficult to tuck in the sides. I would use the thickest setting of your pasta machine if you aren't already doing so. Another possibility I could think of is maybe the brand of clay you are using. Sculpey III is difficult to work with, maybe trying a different brand. Hope you find a solution, Best of luck!
