when people were real! look at society now, kids can't even decide what fucking gender they are. i was born in 78, one of my first memories as a toddler was seeing a group of skins kicking dustbins into the street lol. I'm forever pissed off i was born too late, i'm a skinhead, but i had no skinhead mates. You guys are fucking lucky to have the memories i wish i had!
You are a torch bearer amid a darkened land blight by the oppressive shadow of mediocrity and the cuntiness that is wokeness. Be proud my skinhead brother. You will meet other skinheads. You will make your own memories. Me? Well into my 60s nowadays and I was a 14 year old skinhead back in 1969. Once, a skinhead always a skinhead. Oi Oi 🏴🇬🇧
I use to work at the Last Resort shop when Mick & Eve owned it. My friend Cathy was the Punk I was the Skinhead lol. One of the girls in this video her name was Ziggy wish I could get in touch with her.
Hi Pennyroyal, would it be possible for you to tell me more about what it was like to be a skinhead back then? i am writing my dissertation about subcultures in the eighties.
I miss those days- I live Stateside now and its changed so much as far as paranoid politics it isnt about where you from but who you with- complete rubbish sheit.
Hi Connie, I had just left a comment there not that long ago regarding the video of which just reminds me and my mates back then as we had our own crew and used to associate around a chipshop with a arcade just like yourself around the last resort, I was a young skinhead to back in the 80s, and still today dress much the same As it's in our hearts,, and it's great to see that it's all coming back again and getting bigger looking at the reunions there has been, I just wanted to ask you are you still a skinhead girl today as you looking for the other girl called Ziggy , was just wondering are you thinking of getting together again as skinheads and maybe going to reunions etc etc, that would be nice to see if yous did, Dougie x Northern Ireland
Dave from Putney is on this video (guy who got his nose pinched)i saw him the other day and still a skin although he dressed like a 70s skin but he still looks the same but older.
I was a skinhead in the 80s in Northern Ireland 83 till 89 was mad best times ever hardcore even more with our troubles but you were ether a skinhead/Ska punk a Mod or heavy metaler or a fucking square. ✌🏼
I didn't go much down the resort, being a Millwall lad means I got shite off of everyone for it. Got to know the denizens of Brick Lane quite well though, I married into an infamous east end gangster family and doing the sunday strut was part of the routine with my uncle in law who was on the firm. I was on the run for much of the early part of the eighties from various establishments, ppl tended to blank me because plod would haul in anyone with me if they clapped eyes on meself. There was a core group of us who drifted from squat to squat, or blagging our way into Centrepoint was always cool as not only a shower and dinner but next day luncheon vouchers enough to get 10 B&H from a bloke up by Soho Project and a chance at pulling some of the fit birds who went into Centrepoint too.
