Christian Saguyan; Emotional problems sapped one more than physiological. Physiological is spurred of the moment while emotional is prolonged and more troubling. Emotional can inadvertently affects the physical/physiological efforts on the court, but if you rest from physiological exhaustion, you can easily regain your strength back for the next physiological assignment. Simply put, it is easier to overcome physiological stress than emotional. Thanks.

They showed him in the last dance yesterday. It was over 20 yrs ago, skips alot younger. And people didnt have cell phones for pics. Back then most locker room interviews were done w a pecil and paper. Hence no pics. Skip was there, i read all his articles.

No one talks about the fact that Jordan's knees were giving out after the 1992-93. Jordan didn't have much lift that season; that was the season Jordan became a jumpshooter. I watched that Bulls season very closely and Jordan just wasn't the high flyer he was just one season before, though he could still run circles around the defense. I think that had to do with the lengthy 1992 playoffs and then running with the Dream Team the following summer. Jordan just didn't have the same lift on his dunks that year and couldn not leap the same way. He was only 29/30 years old at the time. And I think he wanted to rest his knees after the third championship. Then why play baseball you ask? He really didn't need to use his knees the same way in that game; he isn't pushing off the same way he did in basketball.

I think when MJ said he was worried people would walk away from The Last Dance thinking he was a bad person, he was talking about these two episodes. I did walk away from these two episodes thinking hey, MJ was a very petty man... The things he said about Toni Kukoc, about wanting to humiliate him. He didn't know him! And the things he said about Dan Majerle... He really came off as a bully to me. Like, I'm so much better than you I'm going to show everyone just how little you are as compared to me. This is from the Chicago Tribune article: "Jordan testified he gave Bouler a $57,000 cashier’s check to cover golf losses to Bouler as well as money he borrowed from Bouler to cover poker and other gambling debts..."

I think the grief element was the real issue why he stepped away from the NBA. Remember that MJ was the MVP of the Dixie Baseball League in NC in his early teens, as a pitcher. It was something that bonded him and his father, whom he wanted to please and gain affection from. Playing Minor League baseball was his way of grieving, esp. after his reaction when his won the NBA title on Father's Day after he came back.

Sigh...John Paxsons shot was not someone saving Jordan’s legacy. If you actually look at the play it was designed for everyone to touch the ball. First MJ inbounds to BJ then BJ passes back to MJ. Second MJ passes to Scottie at half court, Scottie tries to drive to the basket and gets stopped so he passes to Horace who may have a good layup opportunity under the basket. Horace then gets doubled and passes the ball out to a wide open Paxson who is the best shooter on the floor. The play was designed that way by Phil. That is not the same as LeBron missing a three, Bosh gets the rebound and passing out, and Ray Allen the greatest shooter ever hitting a three. There’s a huge difference in Phil Jackson taking over and writing a play for multiple scoring opportunities, then LeBron missing a three and bosh rebounding, and Ray Allen hitting a three. I love Shannon, but my god.

I wasn't a big star, wasn't in the NFL but I did get a chance to play professionally. I was in Toronto, back when Vince Carter was the man in the T.O. I remember being at a club with him and we had a good conversation. One of the main things I remember from it is when he said that he wants to go out like everyone else, simple things like just goto the mall, arcades, movies you know regular everyday stuff without being mobbed or having to have security. Sometimes people forget that these people are just like us. Only difference is that they are really good at something and have alot of money, but deep down they are human.
