Skip is off on this one, his devotion to Brady makes him hate manning who was like 4-1 in championship games against his boy....Peyton deserves to be in the conversation for best ever period. He took horrible teams to the playoffs and even to the bowl. Never really had a great rushing game or defense
This list was right Brady the GOAT and peyton was 3-1 against Brady in AFC championship games not 4-1 and also 3-2 against Brady in the playoffs so Brady sent manning home twice it's 3-2 it's not lopsided manning only has 1 win more than Brady, but this list is right Brady over Peyton for sure Brady=🐐.
@@Levi77471 Manning was actually statistically better than brady in the playoffs if you adjust for the defenses they played. www.footballperspective.com/the-best-playoff-quarterbacks-in-the-super-bowl-era/ here's a statistical analysis of playoff qbs. goes up to 2014. Factor in brady today and he goes from #11 to #4 but still slightly worse than manning. Here's regular season statistics for QBs, goes up to the end of the 2017 season, Manning leads Brady by 5500 total statistical production. Brady hasn't topped that in the last two seasons, that would mean he had 2 MVP seasons. Keep in mind that this is TOTAL statistical production, so divide by seasons played and Manning goes even farther on top. www.footballperspective.com/best-statistical-qbs-hof-data-by-brad-oremland/

That Steelers playoff game skip mentions, Peyton put them in position for a game tying chip shot field goal, Mike V shanked it. The Chargers game skip talked about, Peyton scored to go ahead with less than 2 min to go, walked off the field for the last time winning. Kickoff team gave up a massive return and then let the chargers score to win. The Ravens game, Peyton took them up by 7 with less than 2 to go, walked off the field winning, Broncos d imploded, then John “there’s no need to prep for crowd noise at the super bowl” Fox inexplicably knelt on the ball with 35 seconds left, rather than go for field goal range. That ot interception was Peyton trying to force something because he knew it was their only shot because John Fox got scared from the long ravens to and was being asininely conservative. Nobody also ever talks about the absolutely crappy playoff games that Tom had but the patriots won. When they played the Chargers in the divisional round the year Peyton won his first SB, Tom was terrible and threw 2 ints. The last one should have sealed the ga,e for the Chargers, but the Db who caught it tried to showboat rather than going down and fumbled it in Patriots field goal range. That put them in AFC championship game against the colts, where Tom had a chance to win it, but threw a (bad) pick to seal the colts win. They have a similar playoff rating. Tom some great games, but he had a lot of average to terrible playoff games that the patriots still won. Peyton had a few stinkers, but he had a lot of good to great playoff games that the Colts/Broncos lost. Tom had Bill B the whole time (who was really Peyton’s adversary. Bill B doesn’t “4th and 2 against any other qb, not even Brady. Sean Payton won that super bowl with that onside kick. Peyton to 4 bad to average head coaches to the Super Bowl. He switched teams after a career threatening injury and got BETTTER. People forget that next to last year in Denver, he was at 39 tds halfway through the season and on the way to obliterating his own 55 td record, but hurt is foot and fell off a cliff. That continued through the next year. That last “bad” year, he had 9 drops in the Pittsburgh playoff game(they won) and in the AFC Championship game he was owning the patriots until Gase pulled his foot off the gas, which let NE get back in it. You can talk Super Bowls all you want, but Dan Marino is better than all but a few Super Bowl winners. Warren Moon, too. Jim Kelly, too, for that matter. Players and coaches feared Peyton more. Tom doesn’t have any of those throws that make you say, “how the fuck did he fit that ball there,” nor audibles that show you he’s playing chess. There’s no way you actually watch the majority of their games, rather than reading box scores and looking at records, and walk away thinking Tom is a better QB than Peyton. And Skip says Tom threw such a catchable ball. Well, Wes Walker, himself described catching passes from Peyton as “like taking a handoff.”
This is the most underrated comment ever. At this point. I really gave up on debating with my friends.. Peyton is clearly the better player. All anyone has against manning is the Rings. It’s a team sport and this highlights perfectly why Manning can’t win all games because of the reasons you listed in this comment.
Peyton had 3 touchdowns and 7 picks in his super bowl run in 2006, Peyton lost the colts super bowl 44 with a pick six, Peyton was horrible against a Seattle team that Brady carved up a year later, and Peyton had less than 200 yds in super bowl 50 that was completely dominated by his defense..... Brady’s had great defensive help and won some terrible performances he didn’t deserve.... but let’s not pretend Peyton didn’t choke in the biggest spots
I’m just now finding this video but Unc just made my day. My dad and I just had this conversation (it went about as well as this and he isn’t even a Brady fan and still supported him) career wise with the teams Peyton had, with the intelligence, I’m with Unc on this and I wouldn’t have minded Peyton at one but 2 for sure.
I can go as far as peyton deserves to be no. 1 in the regular season. He had no top tier defense. It was all him. But overall, he deserves to be no. 2 to Tom Brady.
011 ehhh not so sure on that, like Shannon said You have to look at the combination of everything he’s done, now 3 mvps, 4SBmvps, 6 rings. Peyton isn’t even in the same stratosphere as Brady lol.
Skip, swap Vaandershank to Patriots and Vinatieri and this close losses and wins switch QB's. How about James fumbling on the 1 foot line? We can go on and on about how many games were lost by teamated and won by teammates. Brady is clearly incredible, Goat is still subjective as he has struggled and had related literally win the games, no he. Manning has put his team. In winning position where the teate lost. These are absolute facts... A Tuck Rule for Brady, foranning he got Roethlisberger "The Tackle". I'm a Steelers fan but for my money, I'd take Manning to start my dream team
Statistically not even top 10 if you do an in depth statistical analysis adjusting for era www.footballperspective.com/best-statistical-qbs-hof-data-by-brad-oremland/
elway wasn’t good in statistics he was a good scrambler lots of good nterceptions Manning was not clutch loss to Brady a lot plus he was playing in soft skirt qb era a MONTANA best ever played in tough qb ever beat Marino and elway
Peyton Manning is better then Brady .. Shannon shut skip up and all his fangirls .. Peyton carried more on his shoulders then tommy boy could ever imagine
