Skoda 105 120 130 136 Oil change + What engine oil to use ! 

Thank you for your appreciation ! Yes , very good and reliable engines . I use the 136 type on both of my old cars . Also this type of engines have been heavily modify for racing , and they have performed very well.

Iti multumesc , am incercat sa inregistrez cu voce direct , dar prea multe duble si prea mult timp irosit . Asa voice over reusesc macar sa ma concentrez pe cea ce trb sa fac , dar se intampla destul de des, sa uit de camera cateodata si sa nu prind cele mai bune cadre :P

Only the one from the fuel pump ! Believe it or not , even though the additional fuel filter was extremely dirty , the fuel filter from the Jikov fuel pump was pretty clean. What type of engine oil are you using on your cars ?

Kalash Garage I always use Castrol GTX 15 w 40

I have used also Castrol for a very long period of time . One of my friends(The one with the blue Dacia 10 )has sugested Liquy Moly so I have try Liquy Moly . I was very dissapointed with Liquy Moly , each time it was cold outside and started the car I heard some small knocks in the first 2 seconds. Something that i did not have with Castrol . After that i have found out the youtube channel of Piotr Tester. I don't know the guy , but he maked me curios so i have checked his channel and I decided to give it a chance.So I tested Total Quartz 10 W 40 . From my point of view it behaives exactly like Castrol Magnatec 10W40(no engine knocks at first start when is very cold outside) . The only difference from my point of view is the price , Total cost 1/2 of the price of Castrol. But also from the test from Piotr Tester Total was much better then Castrol . Give it a chance(Piotr Tester) , and see how he rates your type of engine oil that you are using !

@@KalashGarage In the UK Škoda recommended Duckhams 15/40. This was an unusual green colour but very good. It was mineral oil with additives. Now that is no longer available I use Halfords 15/40. So thanks for the idea of Castrol. I see you use 10/40. Did Škoda always recommend that grade where you are?

Well in the 80's on the east side of the iron curtain , it was very hard to find a decent engine oil . The majority of people was using mineral oil 20 W 50 (most of the time) . Even though in the original Skoda manual it was recommended also 15 w 40 or 10 w 40 oil . I'm using 10 W 40 oil because on both of my rwd Skoda's i'm using a felicia 68 bhp engines. I drive my Skoda's almost each day and i cover around 5000 to 6000 km each year .This type of engines are more reliable and can keep up in modern traffic . In the past when I have used a Skoda 120 and 130 engines with Iron cast cylinder head i was using also 15 w 40 oil .Those type of engines can work very well also with 10 W 40 oil but because they don't have any valve seals most probably will burn more oil than usual . How did you find the english subtitle from the video ? It was easy to understand ?
