The new thermostat has a wider plug.Did this cause you any troubles? Did the flow of the coolant complete it`s circle the right way? Any problems with the water pump ?

I'm driving 1,4MPI 50kW which is Škoda's engine and I noticed a coolant dripping from there and my car reaches the operating temperature but too slowly so I bought myself a complete housing with thermostat and sensor already mounted.

If you are talking about the gasket I did leave the old one because nothing in the box matched

@@DIYHelper I mean locking spacer. And had you insert 5 mm rod before the unlock of shifting system or meanwhile the re assembly of that ?

@@Croosware of course I installed the locking space, it can be seen on the video. The 5mm locking shift I installed it just before locking the cables on the levers. First you need to place the cables back in the plastic holders and after this lock the gearbox and the shifter.
