Keep up the great work Bob love you videos, I personally prefer the skoda superb 2.0L diesel not a fan of petrol electric why can't they be desiel phev then you have the best of both worlds 👊

The diesel engine would not resist to the stop/ start cycles of a hybrid system, especially during winter when the diesel engine usually has problems in getting to the normal operation temperature even while running continuously

Great review, Bob, always a pleasure watching your reviews. I do get the distinct impression that petrol and diesel cars are being hyper- inflated, in an attempt to convert us to electric by stealth.

Great honest review, only negative to getting a diesel is all our short journeys, which i suspect alot of these cars do!!

Need to make sure you get a regular long journey in. I generally dont find that an issue as I live rurally and usually have a reason to do a long run, but its not for everyone. The other negative to a diesel is the price of it is only going one way.

I personally would go for the 2l TSI because of the 5 ish km/ trip that I often do.

Prices taken from the official price lists so it’s correct. Bit battery in the PHEV might be distorting the price

Plug-in hybrid one of these or wait for the superb plug in hybrid, or Skoda eniac currently driving and eniac will change next year

The new Kodiaq is a brilliant car, but since its so new the good spec one will set you back around 57000€. There are deals for 2023 Kodiaq vRS (12000km) for 40 000€ and i think il go with that.

2021 model from £27,650.. 2024 from £36,645 thats some jump in price.

The price of ICE cars has gone up hugely while the price of battery power has gone down which is distorting the market. Car buyers are being ripped off

@@BobFlavinVideo I was just pointing out that Skoda are no longer a good value brand, If you choose say the top spec car from the range I would not expect to spend £s more to add heated seats ect.

Why oh why are car reviewers obsessed with boot size. It's actually just annoying and boring now. I mean what exactly are people putting in their boots. You look stupid in it. I know, I'm waiting on the comments now..

Some of us put dogs in the back. Tools and Toolboxes when I’m doing jobs. Cardboard boxes when going to the recycling centre. My current car has too small of a “boot” section, so the back seats remain folded down most of the time. Maybe I really need a van or a pickup !!

I use the boot everyday for all kinds of jobs. Families put prams and equipment in them and when you buy a car you look in the boot
