First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to watch my videos.
I have no car experience and I have started late on in life. None of my videos are how-to/tutorials but simply some bloke with no knowledge attempting to modify his own car by saving himself labour costs at a garage.
Modified Car History:
Vauxhall Zafira GSI 245bhp (I did pop a piston on the first engine)
Subaru Impreza WRX UK version standard map
Ford Focus mk2 ST225 modified with pops bangs and flames at 271bhp
Honda Civic Type-R GT Fn2

The code by common practice across all uk cars the code is either in the ICE manual normally written inside or on a sticker put into the manual. Some manufacturers write the code in the handbook/service book and if you don’t have any of them I know Ford use to stick a sticker on the side of the stereo with the code, you could try there. If your at this stage and have pulled the stereo out and the code is not there, there will be a longer code of some sort which you will need and there are services online that you can pay for that will give you the correct code from the longer code on the side of the stereo. @@neil3044 as far as I’m aware the mk3 does have a code but you would only need it if you are removing it from the car and putting it into another car. The stereo is programmed to your car so won’t need to be put in if you change your battery.
