Cold air intake/Conical filter! Won't give you much performance until you do stage two, but the car will sound so good that that alone will be worth it 😌 (tried and tested on two cars 🤓)
Great video man. Just a recommendation from my side that maybe create some content around F1 cars, I'd be really interested to watch that on your channel. Keep up the good work👏🏻👏🏻
I got the Ecotune stage 1 done on my Octavia 1.8TSI through harmonixx, Bangalore. I had similar issues with traction. However upgrading my tyres to Michelin PS4 (225, 45, R17) really helped sort this issue out
@@AutoFly The PS4 tyres are great & quite sticky. Just completed a Bangalore Goa return trip and the tyres were awesome on various types of roads. Of course there is more road noise as these are relatively lower profile compared to stock but still very much livable. Also the ride is a bit firmer than stock (I run Bilstein B6 shocks) but I have no problem using the car as a daily driver
@@amitmanjul8780 hi can you tell me how to procure bilstein shocks? I want to do suspension overhaul for my Vento tdi. I live in a tier 3 city so I don’t know genuine spare sellers to buy from when I go to any metro.
Hey bro!! I have been following your channel for quite some time. I am new in city and looking for someone who can fix my charge actuator in Octavia 1.4 tsi. However I don’t know who to go to. Skoda is charging Bomb to repair it.

Question , i have a Superb , is there are way to make it on a switch , since its software upgrade , so that i can drive normally and then when i want to get a bit of sports drive switch the ECU on . Is that a possibility ?
Hey, so there are 2 options here. You can either go with a ECU tuning chip such as Racechip for eg. Next option you have is changing your ECU and getting a custom one which lets you run multiple Remaps on it. But this will be expensive. I would suggest not doing that and going in for a non switchable remap, it would be easier and you can always put back the stock map whenever you want through the tuner who does it for you.
@@AutoFly I fugured out i can tune it above 3000RPM, since in automatic Drive mode it doesnt go above that . And then when i want sport drive i put it in Sport where it does go over 3000 So that way i kind of have a switch . I dont need ECU at all , i think Tuner can remap and edit my ECU, stock one , just remapped , would that be possible
Recommendation for next upgrade to Octavia: Induction kit to improve airflow to the enginer and Turbo exhaust to improve airflow from the enginer. If the above is a bit too costly then you may consider options to improve the traction (as learnt from the video) as wheel spin is a critical issue to be addressed.
Hi I currently own a ciaz zdi, planning to sell it ... Should I go for a used 1.8 tsi mk3 ? Plan is to do a stage 1+ on it but really worried about the dq200 😰 how reliable is it ?
Would suggest a Mk3.5, it's more reliable as they fixed quite a few issues from the Mk3. DQ 200 if maintained well is fine. If the car is not tuned, it should not be a problem
Hi, Could you tell the model and varient of the car? Do you still own the car, if yes, could you give a long-term review after the stage 1 remap? How does it feel, any issues experienced, so and so..? Thanks
Hello Shiv , thank you for reaching out , this car is the Skoda Octavia Onyx 1.8L petrol Variant , and the car itself is beautiful to drive and after stage 1 the way it just packs a power punch and its is amazing , no complains with running a stage 1 whatsoever , same maintenance & service routines , our car has been recently sold.
@@AutoFly Sorry, but what transmision fluid? DQ200 has dry clutches. The only fluid is in the mechatronic, but it doesn't require change. Also DQ200 is limited to 250 Nm, which the engine makes standard
Hello Kayess, It majorly depends on which tune brand are you going for or is it custom and from where i.e. which city or which tuner too but an average range to be considered is about 20-40k
@@AutoFly i did with my audi and regret with that decision. the clutch burns after 10000 miles. audi and skoda are from volkswagon group. The piston rings get affected too.
