You do realise Skoda charges 2.5L premium when compared to Hyundai and Honda. Why can't we expect all that?

You need to negotiate well for cars.

Biggest problem is that...even after numerous feedbacks on poor fit and finish, ac problem, and lack of few cheap features in last two years...they refuse to improve.

VW/Skoda have prioritised built quality and turbo charged engines over useless gimmicky features and naturally aspirated engines starting at a price point of 11L and have also skipped useless featureless base variants which other brands showcase

@@TipsyDr AC has improved a lot post latest software update. Regarding Features - I only miss 360 degree camera and guidance on reverse camera else all essential/useful features are present. Regarding fit and finish - Yes there were some niggles but I think these have been fixed in vehicles manufactured post May 2022.

On real life accidents how many Hyundai Kia cars have caused fatalities - talking about Verna's, Seltos, Cretas, i20's etc. Very curious. I feel GNCAP has caused some sort of overhype where all Tata/Mahindra cars have reached immortality levels of safety while every other Maruti/Hyundai cars are plain unsafe - thanks to some chappri youtubers. Hyundai/Kia at least have started giving 6 airbags from base model for Exter, Facelift i20 but also have active Safety features like ESC, Traction Control. Give credit where its due. Not any car company fanboy BTW.

exactly, Hyundai build quality is so poor, i mean i know they have features and ADAS and what not, but when travelling distances with family Skoda feels safe, i am not sure people can say the same thing about Hyundai or Honda

@@Meeradevi-ur8dm hyundai - no... Not safe.. But why do you say honda is not safe..? It gives both active and passive safety features and still gets atleast 4 stars.. I think Honda as a brand is good.. Kia/hyundai and MS are the real culprits in this regard

Exactly brother. I am already an owner of Octavia. Octavia, jetta, passat ,superb , kodiaq, tiguan, troc,karoq are having original European standards quality and feel.

Exactly. In fact for some reason, I found suspension of Kushaq a bit more refined than the Slavia during my test ride. Feels like Kushaq has longer suspension travel.

You are saying great car based on built, everyone said it’s built is poor than earlier Škoda models . Length of car seems too big for city drives in b2b traffic! If you feel 20lks is not a sizeable amount of money to get a sub par reverse cam avg fit and finish with plastics then you can go ahead . I have equally blame goi for hiking taxes and making car prices raise high in last 1-3 yrs

@@Vikrum_ how about comparing it’s built quality with current competing cars of different brands, it’s far better, I own a Kushaq 1.5 myself, and have driven almost all the cars of that but non gave me that satisfaction that skoda gave, not just that overall experience of purchase and post sales as well was great, the TOC also came down significantly since it’s manufactured in India, lot of gimmicks don’t work for me, wat I wanted this car gave me so to each their own.

Brother, last week i bought kushaq ambition manual 1.5 Driven 300km only. What a beast. So effortless since so much power is at reserve. waiting for first 1500-2000km to get over taaki proper trike se chala pau😋 1. Did you face problem in first 1000km? You have slavia or kushaq? 2. Have you done your 1000km service? How was the service experience? 3.. My engine oil level dipped signifacntly. I know tight engine hota h, break in period me engine oil consumption high hota h par pahle 200km me hi dipstick ke lower levels pe aa gya. 4. Is mileage expected to increase? Im getting same mileage as you 5. Is there any whatsapp group for skoda kushaq,slavia owners? 6.Log fizool me hi touch ac buttons pe upset ho rhe h, jab ac chalana hi auto mode pe hota h 95%of the time toh kya ho gya ki touch panel de diya(companies auto ac ko premium feature ke naam pe bechti h aur customers khreedte h fir kya fark padta h ki touch me h aur buttons nhi, buttons/rotary dial hota toh better tha, par yeh bhi dealbreker nhi h) P.S I'm loving the fact ki meri tarah kisi aur ne bhi ambition me 1.5tsi li aur woh bhi manual me. @@bhanupratapsihag1154 1.5 slavia ambition hi Li hai. Mere dealer ne to pehle hi bol Diya tha aapko 1.5 suit karegi😅 also dsg ke bare mein bola tha usne ki problem Ati hai long term. Abhi 3k run , no problem so far Mileage is same, on my daily 22km office, city+high way run easily 12kmpl. I am right now on a mountain village visit, 220km from my city, one sided I am getting 16kmpl on MID, and last 20km of the trip is straight up on a mountain in 1st and 2nd gear which sucked the mileage and I am assuming it will be around 12-13kmpl for the whole 440km trip when Ill leave tommorow for home. 1st service is at 15k km so haven't done anything yet, only filled the washer fluid once, and engine oil level are normal for me. I don't put ac on auto, I put it on 23.5 c and fan at 2-3 bar initially then 1 after 20-30min, cooling is enough. Noticed driver side window issue in this trip, it rolls automatically down when I raise it, will get it checked in a few days 1.5 is an amazing engine on highways, it feels like there is no limit to how much it can pull. Sakht launda Banna padta hai isko chaleke to stay in limits. No what's app group etc in am in but I am sure there are, u can try reddit for teambhp for that. Biggest flex of this car is the ground clearance and suspension, faced now issue so far in bumpy, bad village roads, boot space is so big for long trips, overall very satisfied. I have to buy the svp as well in coming months.
