Marvelous !!! In a few days I am scheduled to sign the co-contract for L&K at the Skoda dealer in my city (Timisoara - Romania). I can't wait to receive the car. It is simply a spaceship !!! SKODA - SIMPLY CLEVER !!!!!!!!!! 😍

Ok, you made me sell 2020 premium superb and purchase l&k around €82000 (yes, with highest taxes in the world)

Awesome video. I see that you are driving in Portugal, do you know when the car will be available to buy?
@1001cars
@1001cars 5 месяцев назад
Thank you :) The availability depends on the market. The best way is to ask your local dealer. As far as I know, they produce first part of these cars right now, but not in every drivetrain & equipment specification.

@@1001cars Yeah i figure as much. Im in Portugal and i'm waiting for local dealers to have more information regarding prices and availability. Keep up the good work.

which competitor models would you say have compareable ridecomfort like the superb ? or is the new superb better than his competitors ?

Which cars are competitors for superb in your opinion? There is not many of them...
@lumajs
@lumajs 5 месяцев назад
The new Superb and the new Passat have the exact same riding feeling because both were prepared by Škoda and they share more parts than ever before. They differ by the lipstick, Škoda is bought by those who know, VW is bought by those who don't know Škoda or who believe it must be a bad Soviet car or something like that 😂.

Is this the same travel assist as the one available for the Kodiaq under the "Assisted Drive Plus" Pack?
@1001cars
@1001cars 22 дня назад
I am not sure unfortunately. When I tested Travel Assist in Tiguan I observed different behaviour compared to Passat.

Software has to be updated... Why to touch steering wheel every 10s?:(
@1001cars
@1001cars 29 дней назад
First of all not in every 10s, second: UE regulations.

This is the right level of self driving for coming years. Most of the truly boring steering is done by the chips so the driver may talk and do other things but you can see that he still wants to make decisions rather often. They are not just about some algorithm claimed to be intelligent. He bears responsibility for the decisions and earns trustworthiness by the track record of driving. This is really lost with fsd which has no personality.
@dkdanis1340
@dkdanis1340 2 месяца назад
Who says that you can't drive the fsd car manually?? They will still have steering wheels. Fsd will have personality cause it will make decisions based on AI. AI isn't pre programmed what to do it's self learning.
@lumajs

@@dkdanis1340 if the self driving really worked, steering wheels would become as silly as fake exhausts.

Looks like one of the best in Tight Corners. Do you know if this car has a heated distance radar for snow etc.?

@1001cars
@1001cars 5 месяцев назад

Musiałem lekko dodać gazu i wtedy ignorował to auto. Nie znalazłem opcji która by pozwoliła to wyłączyć - ale może po prostu miałem auto zbyt krótko.

The use of all kinds of driver aids is incomprehensible to me - has a person turned into a monkey behind the wheel? If you don't like driving, you should sit in the back seat and enjoy the fact that someone is driving for you.

For me is fun and veeery helpful in traffic jams, long travels ( 1000kms drives ) or even if you wanna just take a drink + it’s just precaution if you fell a sleep, get’s medical emergency etc. - I’m not turning any assitance in cars off if they works fine which in my Superb 3 does…. It’s not about if i love or hate driving.
@heinrichberg2998

@@SpidmaxX Yes, everything is fine if you drive along the ideal roads of Europe. In those countries where studded tires are used, all white stripes are gone by spring and I would like to see the driving ace who wants to use all kinds of driver aids in these conditions. The car goes crazy pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the big mess is that every time you turn on the ignition, the driver aids are active again. EU officials think that even in bad road conditions, all driver aids must be active all the time by default, and if you forget to turn them off and an accident happens because of it, it's your own fault! We have bad driving conditions 10 months a year and every time you start the car, you have to be like a fighter pilot, turning off useless driver aids so that they don't interfere with your driving. People simply do not understand that there is ice, snow, mud, slipperiness, according to a Central European, you cannot drive a car in these conditions...

@@heinrichberg2998These systems can be used in multible conditions too. The weather doesn't have to be perfect. These systems are meant to help you with long drives. The driver still drives thru intersections but for long drives with mostly 2 way roads and highways this system can lower fatigue because you don't have to make micro adjustments constantly. You don't have to turn off safety features. They won't intervene unnecessary. For example lane departure warning will only pull the steering back if the driver slowly goes over the lane meaning that he did it unconsciously. If the driver abruptly steers the system won't intervene cause it knows that the driver wanted to avoid something some systems will help if they see obstacle ahead.

@@dkdanis1340 Obviously, it's pointless to argue with people who don't know what winter is. There are no white lines around, just white snow. Everywhere. On the road and next to the road, under a tree and on top of a tree, on the roof of the car and on the windows of the car. Winter can last half a year. It is cold outside -25-30 degrees Celsius. In the spring, when the roads melt, many of the white lines on the road have been eaten away by studded tires. Unfortunately, the driver assistance systems in cars are not so well developed that they understand what conditions they need to work in, they have such that if the white line is clearly visible, they work, but if it is not? There are no highways in our country. We have many narrow roads where the center line of the road is not marked. Periphery, you know! People haven't been around the world and don't understand simple things: if you have perfect roads and good weather where you live, it doesn't mean that it's like that everywhere in the world.
