Blue Ribbon D.E. Cat Litter is also made of diatomaceous earth, but is a finer and more dig-able and sift-able texture. I and My cats Hated Skoon and refused to dig in its Rocky Chunky texture.
Might I say Blue Ribbon is Better than Skoon in every way except:
1. It's a bit duster (because it's finer texture)
2. It tracks a bit more (again, because it's a finer texture)
3. Diatomaceous Earth dust may pose a higher danger inhalation danger than that of Skoon
I still like other litters more than these, but if you like D.E. Litters or if you tried Skoon and had problems with its texture, try using Blue Ribbon instead... Or even supplement Skoon with it and create a varied texture mix.
Even the finer texture of Blue Ribbon doesn't sift well in my DIY Tilt and Sift Litter Box invention. other large sift-the-whole-litter-box methods may have trouble too
