Skoon Litter Review - My & My Cats' Experience - & Does it Work in My Litter Box Invention 

Agreed, my kitties try to cover their poop with the regular sized Skoon, and its hard for them to, so it barely helps with odor elimination. They do have a fine grain but odor wise wasn't much better. Skoon is veeery dusty, when you pour it, its a giant cloud. And when I clean my boxes the lids are covered in dust where they bury/play in it. Tracing wise, it doesn't track anywhere in the house except at the kitty box entrance which isn't bad at all. Overall what killed it for me was the odor, it covered their pee smell but when one of my kitties pooped the smell would hit you even in the next room. I'm going to try Pretty Litter next.

Old fashioned clay cat litter is safe ,oder after cleaning ? baking soda & baby powder.

Have you considered that your litter box may be too small for your cat who likes to scratch the top of the box?

Sorry to say that I and my kitties didn't feel the same about the product. **Skoon does have a 💵 money back satisfaction guarantee.** If your still curious about this most unique litter, check their site to see if the guarantee is still advertised , and give it a shot. If not satisfied, cancel and share your experience with them for your money back. ⚠ Let me say that though Diatomaceous earth (both food-grade and non, sold in powder form) have warnings about inhalation, Skoon's dust content is most noticeable when it is poured out and when vigorously agitated. Take precautions not to breath it if and when present in the air and you'll be fine. Consider wearing a dust mask if concerned and don't vigorously agitate it when cleaning the litter box. Think of water... Water is perfectly fine for consumption, just like D. Earth, just don't consume a ton of it or breath it 😅. One thing I forgot to mention was my bag of Skoon arrived with a coating of dust on the bag. It truly is Not dust free or even 99%, but it does seem to settle quickly unlike that of Crystal silica gel Litters. Also Skoon dust is much more visible than that of Crystal litters in my experience. ⚠ I'd like to Emphasize again that this is my and my cats experience. You and your cat(s) may have a different experience. I've provided some honest demonstrations and insight to guide your decisions and hopefully answer some questions. I wish I had been more open with Skoon and matched their customer support with my own support. I still stand behind my experience and statements, but I could have been more transparent with them as I finished my final review. Further Reviews I will be contacting each litter company for feedback based on ongoing experiences for the sake of everyone. I purchase all these litters and none of it has been free or sponsored so far. If I do get an offer for free samples I will approach them the same as if I bought them with my own money. I have 4 cats. One is a kitten. The kitten takes the largest chunks and plays with them. My older (not elderly) cats avoid Skoon like the plague.

So when are you planning to do the tofu litter review? I got skoon to try, but can't really tell if I like it because my daughter's kitten has a birth defect and is now at MedVet, right after we got the litter. So performance can't be measured yet. Not the fault of skoon. He just has a torn urethra because it has pockets in it like people with diverticuliti in their colon.
