The crusher is actually way better. Sony can't play well at low volumes, lacks brighness, poor ANC, the max bass is weak and boomy, and gets boring quickly.

For bassheads the best option is skullcandy crusher-evo, which has no hissin and you don't need ANC bcoz the spectacular bass drowns out most ambient noise. But if you just need decent bass and comfort is more important, then the sony xb 900 is a solid recommendation.

If you a Basshead, Skullcandy Crusher ANCs are the better option and if you all for sound quality then get the Sony headphones, simple. Sony headphones do not even compare when it comes to bass and the Crusher ANCs dont compare when it comes to sound quality. Personally I'm all for bass so I'd take the ANCs anyday and they are very fun to use, I blow people's minds when they hear them for the first time but they were the Crusher Evos though, I dont really use the ANCs

@@ShebeerPrince Sonys are better when it comes to noise cancellation and sound quality, Skullcandy at least tried but no way is they better and worth that ridiculous price new. Crushers ANCs are more if you love bass, it has bass that will put a smile on your face but one major downfall is the treble on those headphones are so low to where if CV you turn the bass slider up halfway, it makes it hard to hear. The skullcandy Crusher Evos are my favorite headphones right now because they fixed every problem that was wrong with the ANCs, the bass is well tuned, the treble is loud enough to be heard through the bass, only thing the Crusher Evos dont have is noise cancellation but when you got the bass slider on, you wont hear nothing around you. If you want balance all around then get the Sonys, if you want Bass that will rattle your skull, get the Crusher EVOs or ANC (personally ill get the crusher EVOs, they sound far better than ANCs)
Ive had the XB900N for over 1 month (50% off on BF). They sound amazing, and you dont have to worry about messing up LDAC by changing the EQ because there is enough bass as it is. I even prefer them over my VModa M100 which used to cost over 300 bucks.
Sony 🎧 user here! Upgraded from XB650BT to XB900N and I made a good decision. The only problem I've had so far is that my ear helix to helix tail part is reaching the inner part which gave me fatigue including my jaw.
Honestly I love bass but at the same time I love the overall sound with bass added in. So sony is the clear pick for me. The sound isn't an crisp or clear as the sonys
Don't make that mistake😂. No matter how much you tweak the EQof the xb900, the best( brightest) setting still isn't as bright as the ANC. The sony needed that EQ app cause out of the box it sounds horrible. You don't need an eq if the headphones already sound good. The crusher also has way better noise cancelling in real life, although according to this review the xb900 has more.
Where I live in Aus currency the skull candies are $600, beats solo 3 $500, while the Sony XB900n is $300 & on sale reduced to $180, so sony is clearly the best choice

No bro the noise cancellation in either of them is the best, if noise cancellation is a concern go for Sony wh h910n they are sold for 25k but u can get it on sale for around 10k on flipkart. They have the best noise cancellation better battery but less bass than the xb900. My suggestion would be save some money and get evos. Overall Sony make the best headphones so it’s totally your call.
I really think this is not a neutral review, the XB900N sound doesnt compare to the crushers in any way. the only real match for the crushers are the XM3
Why not compare the skullcandy crusher with the 40 hour battery life. The ANC is secondary to the to the Crusher when it comes to battery life and bass
How is the microphone of those 2 products... Anyone knows maybe? It´s hard to find something about the mic! Taking phone calls is the same important as a good sound otherwise the product is not complete.
Ive had the Crusher Anc for a year and yesterday my power button went INSIDE the headphones now I cant turn them on. Ive never seen such a thing then before that the volume button was stuck permantly...love crushers but for 300 dollars that should not be.
HELP GUYS! Should I get SONY WH-XB900N or SOUNDCORE Q35? I only listen to POP and Alternative. I want them to be comfortable, have nice sound and good microphone. They both cost around the same price.

Are the new skull candy worth it over the OG crusher wireless? I had sony xb950n and they were terrible compared to the crusher ogs so sticking to skullcandy. I dont believe sony have a bassier headphones than skullcandy

the Audio Technica ATH-SR50BT have always been a neutral sounding favorite of mine. But personally I wouldn't get those right now cause they'll probably announce a new version at CES 2020 this coming January

ANC build quality is good but I wouldn't really buy them, they're easy to break I use to have them on max bass alot because I'm a Bass lover but one day I started hearing aloud buzzing sound when I turned them on I couldn't get rid of it R.i.P, I always kept them safe and make sure I never dropped them only had them for 4 months I guess It couldn't handle it's own bass is there any other headphones that are good as the ANC's ?

Well my crushers only last for atleast 1 year the first one my sister broke then I got the hesh 3 they cheap they didn't last long Then ANC they didn't last long only 4 months I made sure they was all good Never dropped or nothing

@Tirth i have the sony xb950n1 & xb900n...love them both but was looking into a more mature clear bass with better fidelity, hence the sennheiser but they are $400 right now and kinda double duchin since im not making it rain like that...i did do some research on wired but tbh it is a bigger investment...so that brings me back to the sennheiser m3...

Dude. Not really. Not for what the headphones will provide you with. A dream level of bass experience. Which does not mean the other ranges are compromised with. Skullcandy has done magic with these.
You made Skullcandy seem worse than it actually is by saying things in your perspective. Not a bad thing because it's your opinion, but it did sound worse than it actually is. Yes, there's some facts to what you said but everyone has their own taste as well that may not agree with you. Overrall, I think the Crushers had more points. But winner by a little is Sony.
