I literally just bought these and they are superb!! The bass is insane and the app is super cool with adaptive noise cancelling and preset equalizers with excited being my fav!! These blow away my old Sennheiser PXC-550's!
Yes they're definitely brilliant headphones and sound is just beautiful high fidelity with a nice tight punchy bass & I also use the app for the Al adaptive sound & I love it is like listening to your hi-fi system you have at home they are that good & very comfortable to wear, I managed to get them from Amazon for only £140 2 months ago, bargain best headphones I ever had they even beat my Bose comfort ii headphones for sound quality fantastic Sony headphones ✌👍
I was worried about these having too much bass. I ordered them anyway just to test them out because Costco/Google had them for $103 on black friday. To my surprise, the bass was fine. It was not over-whelming. I guess my pair was defaulted to the lower bass. I’m more into vocals so I avoid bass. So far, I haven’t had to touch the EQ. So I am very happy with my purchase. The 1000xm3 were $175 more, on sale!
After using skullcandy crusher wired and wireless headphones, a week ago I have decided to buy a new headphone. I choose two headphones crusher evo and Sony xb900n. Crusher evo has crazy amount of bass and honestly no one can be able to use the full bass because soon they will get headache. The bass on sony headphones are more than enough for majority of music listeners and it has lots of extras including app and audio codecs. On my Google pixel 2 xl by default the system choose LDAC codec which is the best for audio listening. I bought for 145 euro on sale.
I mainly listen to rock, and a lot of very old recordings. You don't need to be into hip hop or miami bass or club music to want these. They really are pretty good and I generally stick to 100% 1970s analogue equipment. Seriously, I first saw it in guitar amps, but the new stuff really is starting to get good. This is coming from a guy who doesn't say this stuff. I'm sure there us better stuff out there but this really is a good product and I'm impressed. (and yes, bass music like what i mentioned absolutely bumps)
Great sounding headphones, I really don't like the bass, is not really deep and separated but I'm really satisfied with the purchase, $125 it was a steal for all the features that it has, also, they are COMFORTABLE, way more than the XM4s.
I just bought these because Amazon had a 1 day sale for a unbeatable price for 128.00. Free delivery and they came the next day. I really like them but no way would I pay 248 which is now listed as on Amazon. I love the deep bass. For 128 yeah totally happy.

Just picked this up last night. I couldnt believe i how great this is. I was so happy with this headphone. It was on sale for $120. I dnt see a reason to get the big bro if this is good enough and can hold its own.
If you want a very good bass and have the buget for wh-10003xm3.. Just go for the skullcandy crusher Anc.. They have an amazing bass, just for bass lovers

Great vids! How is the bass at low and medium volume levels? I’m 42 and can’t crank the volume anymore but still love my low bass. I currently have the wh-ch700n set. They have great bass especially with the eq on the app, but I have to turn them up above halfway to get nice bass. Thanks! 👊🏼⚔️
I just got mine delivered today, they sounds really good at low volumes. If you aren't getting enough bass there is a custom EQ setting in the app with 6 sliders for granularity. Very happy with it. Keep an eye out for sales, I bought mine off Amazon earlier this week for $128
I wanted to ask if there is the wind noise reduction function with the WH XB900N, because I cant seem to find it in the app. Even older models have it, but I cant find it with that model. Also, any news for software updates ?
Isaac Park there is active noise cancellation which cancels most of the surrounding noise including wind, but no specific option for cancelling wind noise only

Fantastic review. I subscribed. Best Buy has M3's for 279.99 right now and Xb900n for $249.99. Will choose one as a bday present to myself. But how did you find that instrumental at 6:20? I've heard it before and have been looking for that instrumental.
@@99yearsago37 I bought xb900's. I love them. They sound incredible. The only thing I hate is the sound bleed. I can't turn them up past 60 percent in crowded places otherwise everyone will hear what I'm listening too. So I give them a B+.

does it overheat if used for a prolonged time. Overheating is my main concern. How many hours can we go in one go without overheating ?Please let me know . It’d be a great help mate.
I haven't had any issues with them overheating. The longest I've worn them are for about two hours and they were great so you shouldn't have any problems. let me know if you have any more questions!
naka angu I’ve worn mine for many hour and they don’t overheat but they may make your ears a little warm, but that’s expected wearing just about any headphone for a long period of time
Since I have had them, I have used them pretty much in summer time. I honestly had no complaints that set off the urge to reach out for my wired earbuds. But that experience may vary from one person to the other.
after a hard reset I get a gorrible beep atone alarm feedback sound for the touch controls sony warranty says is normal but it was not there before be warned.
Tip, I'm looking at this review because I am thinking of buying these, so i am looking at the price these are don't recommend buying 2 more expensive products recommend alternatives at the same price
The sound isolation on the WH-XB700 is so great it wipes the floor with the WH-XB900N’s noise cancelling tech. I have them both, and I’m returning the more expensive one. That’s crazy.

Does the sound quality change when you are using the cable and turn off the headphones ? (I read that the sound becomes really terrible and degraded) Could someone confirm please ?
HELP GUYS! Should I get SONY WH-XB900N or SOUNDCORE Q35? I only listen to POP and Alternative. I want them to be comfortable, have nice sound and good microphone. They both cost around the same price.
The noise cancelling is ok but nothing great. For really good noise cancelling you will have to look at the Bose Noise cancelling 700's or the Sony WH 1000XM3.

Can it connect wired connection and bluetooth connection at same time. I want to use it for meetings from wired connection and switch to bluetooth connection of a mobile phone when I am receiving call. Is smooth switching possible? The headphones that I have used until now, were able to either connect to bluetooth or wired at a time.
Unfortunately, these headphones cant connect with a Bluetooth or wired connection at the same time. These headphones are really meant to be used wireless. But, you can switch between wired or Bluetooth pretty quick. If you use them with the wire you will loose a bit of audio quality so keep that in mind. I personally have never used these headphones with the wire except for when I was reviewing them.
What I do is disconnect the cord from the headphones whenever I want to switch over to wireless, promoting me to switch them back on. My previous pair was exactly like that too. What's nice with these is that the connection time, once powered on, is very low.
Yup, this blows away beats studio 3 and solo 3 pro. I got both and i just got this wish i did it sooner. Beats heads my ear after wearing it for 30mins this doesnt and its super light compare to beats.
It is good enough for most purposes. I fly economy a lot, and while they don't totally isolate you from the ambiance in the plane, they do an excellent job of shutting out the sound of a baby crying or a fatty snoring nearby. I am happy with the amount of noice cancelling they offer for my purposes.
@@Ndlelex they will do great in the office, but in a bus they are nothing like mx3 or qc35. I would have gotten them if my ears were a little bit smaller, had to go qc35 :(

Comparing this to the skullcandy Crusher line, the bass is just to much on the 900s, even with max bass in the Crushers the music is still enjojable, that is because is fake bass, vibrations mostly, the 900s is real bass and covers the whole song, not saying is bad because this are BASS HEAVY headphones, bass head will enjoy this a lot, in conclusion, way better Bass than the crushers but the crushers have more separation betweed the bass and the rest of the song, but if you like bass the 900s are still a must buy, because you can customize everything on the app.
"Microphone works very well" I had those headphones and cannot agree with this sentence. I was forced to give them back because of the poor microphone quality. I thought about treating this as a technical issue and asking for warranty repair... but almost every test I could find mentioned bad microphone quality on Sony. This is one of the few that said it was okay.
I bought it two days ago from Tehran about 165 USD . Yes bass is Abit high and I was going to change it via Sonny app via Google but I saw the error this facility doesn't exist in your country ! Why ?! A headset application is only listening music :)As I remember Iranian people were so nice to Japanese . We never attack japon with nuclear bomb. We are only country in the world joint every anti nuclear weapons protocols . We never banned japon from making airplanes . But surprisingly when paid 165 USD and decide to use Sony headset app it wasnt enable for us . Shame on Sony :)

If you love bass, go with the 900n, if you like the anc, go with the xm3.. Xm3 it's a more premium headset.. But take a look at the MDRXB950 or skullcandy crusher anc
for anc and a bit neutral sound signature xm3... for better bass,microphone quality and less price xb900n I have the xbs so you can ask if you have any particular question I've been personally enjoying my 900ns the bass is so damn good and the sony eq app improves the user experience some presets will literally shake your ears with clear bass set to +8 or more
