Good OLD SKunk, back in San Diego in 98ish there was a few shops id get my work done on the B18c EK hatch later a B18c EG, Epic MotorSports i think they was in National City, Pann Auto did the swap for $500 and was done in the same day, U went with Skunk Coilover, Cams/Cam gears in 99, they was leading the Charge for all motor civics. Randomness right now, there was a Guy in the San Diego Area back in 99 or so, he had the only Yellow EG with a Heavily Modded with a B16A absolute Monster His name and car was in the streets, they called him "The Reza", Tony in our club Zero2Sixty had a Red EG B16A they both went at only Once, Reza Won. Those where Good times back then, very few Boosted cars from the factoy outside the DSM crowd. Honda's Ruled the streets. I was Just Unstoppable period, when i can in that Saturday with the GSR engine in back of the yellow ford edge pick and the EG shell on the tow truck in front of Pann Auto (Owned by Thomas) I felt like the biggest bad ass. then EG with the B20 and LS's wit the Crower Cams was Sneaky lol especially Down Low lol..Skunk Racing was Leading the charge back then i was like 19 at the time. Then Fast and Furious Dropped in Theaters and the scene went Bananas, Until they started crushing cars lol for racing.i remember the fights, the upsets the Police blocking us in with the helicopters, Firehouse racing, and Kearny Mesa racing locations. LS/Vtecs then b20/vtec came theye all was monsters too when done correctly and not over rev'ed there was only a few.
haha, Reza is actually his name. We used to be rivals in the SD street racing days but also friendly. We're much better friends today and actually play soccer together regularly. He's a great guy and he still messes around with Hondas here and there.
we need to bring back FTw purple..that fuel was willld. I had a 88 prelude as my 2nd car...those carb'd b20s were sleds..the vac diagram gave you a head ache looking at it. Omniman ftw
