These cases are so premium. They really elevate the Watch. Felt like holding an MRG model for a world timer. Great review and show of the cases and bands ! 💦
good to see this on your channel Rob. thanks. having worked on these i can vouch for their quality. i also like that they allow u customize lots of things besides the case color: keep/remove lettering; change bezel color, etc. and for those wondering, yes, the ae1300 movements will fit inside the SKXMODS cases. Rob, maybe an olive green filter for the bronze case (earth tone colors seem to go well with bronze).
I wasn't so interested in mods but recently i bough one of this world timers and as i am watching your channel and wishing for Casio to have a bronze watch, the bronze case got my attention and i ordered one to pair it with canvas green strap.
Love that acid green strap. Could add a matching green filter on the analog clock part or if you wanted to go crazy with the pink like you mentioned that green strap and pink filter would be a cool watermelon combo
I ordered a case-only kit. I think the rubber straps are priced to high for what they are. I may go with a band from Vario. They're made to fit the Royale, nicer looking (imo), and half the price.
I'm looking for a strap for my vintage Pulsar Digital, it has 20mm lugs but really needs the wider flared strap like these. Do you know the lug size of these/world timers? Straight FKM straps look too skinny!
@@watchncarry9593 Thanks, I need a 20-22mm or 20-24mm adapter for a vintage Pulsar W359-0A28 with 20mm lugs to fit a larger 22 or 24mm strap. I'll check them out!
This is crazy, the only attraction to this watch is the price........, and they sell the module for $54........when you can but two full watches for that money....... People buying this stuff: get an original watch from Walmart and spend the rest of that money on a psychiatry consultation......
They do get pricey fast. But this is a hobby. The point is to have something unique. For under 250 bucks you can have a watch no one else has, and you get to take it apart and assemble it yourself. Plus you might be like me. I like the world timer’s look but HATE that it feels like a 20 dollar watch.
