Typical, another advert that is ok the first few times it’s on the tv, but now it’s been on for months it’s starting to get on my nerves… tv gets muted every time it comes on now…
Used to work, for sky. They really do not care what you think. They have to keep paying 'journalists',on sky news,to ask stupid questions.Having sky t.v.,is like being delivered the same pile of magazines, every month,1,or 2 new articles, thats it.You have read everything else.Just keep paying,it's the easiest option. This ad is on every channel,at least, ten times a day.Got to keep skys name in your head.
You're a little behind the news there: Rupert Murdoch sold the remaining 39% of Sky held through Fox to Comcast in September 2018, before selling the rest of Fox to Disney in March 2019.
I hate everything about these adds. Not a fan of Sky but they've always had slick, well put together adverts. This campaign is not only irritating but on all the bloody time.
This advert is literally bombsharding my TV, can't get away from it.. It actually came on 3 times in a row recently, its gotten so extremely annoying that I have to mute it everytime it appears.
There's nothing new about a streaming tv every smart tv does it, and the stupid advert with the blasting colours out the tv and using special effects to sell it. I've got sky but certainly won't be updating to this, nothing magic about it as it uses the same display as your tv at home, waste of money. So because it has no disk or box that means its magic... rubbish
I’m not usually an ad kind of guy (who is?!) but this is sensational marketing. Just perfect - and when, oh when, is that song going to be available? Ps My Sky Glass arrives this week. 😁
Had it about a month now.. I like it but still has alot of bugs still, picture freezing and sound cuts out alot, have to change channel to get sound back. Sky needs to put out more updates out. And as for software and firmware updates good luck on trying to do that manually as it doesn't self update.
Sky is not even hanging on by a thread. It is a living dead service. Terrible, awful, repeat programming separated by begging adverts for all sorts of obscure charities asking to sponsor disabled donkeys. Now they are threatening to charge £5 to skip adverts !! So let's get this straight: Sky charges anything from £23 upwards to offer very little but repeats unless charging extra to watch new releases. You then have to sit through adverts and if you want to skip the adverts, they charge you more. I have Sky and realised that I have honestly not watched it for a year and now that Xmas is back, I reverted back to Sky to see if it has anything new and the answer was a resounding "no" and I reverted to all the recorded movies I'd recorded from the previous year and quite honestly watched nothing new. Sky is obsolete. It is a dead service. I am cancelling and will not miss it as I can get anything it offers elsewhere.
@@NicolaSturgeon-pl4bs You're not understanding. Yes Sky is expensive, but that's the only way you'll get the HBO shows over here in the UK. NOW TV is an option, but it's still Sky
This song needs Apple Music support, its a belter. I'd keep paying my subscription. What a voice, Griff deserves fame. Not a fan of Sky cos i live in a city where i cant have it. This lass is a star in the making!
Sky Glass streams via the internet rather than a satellite dish, so anywhere you can have internet, even if it isn’t Sky broadband, you can get Sky Glass. Like for example, my Sky Stream box, which also streams via the internet, is connected to EE broadband.
It's annoying that the hdmi inputs don't have a independent picture settings. Have to adjust picture settings everytime switching from to TV to console
Ugh anyone else see how shamelessly "middle-class" advertising has become? Likely influenced by the advert makers & Sky bosses own perfect & genuinely privileged childhoods; ugh advertising ain't what it used to be. Crap.
Is that the ad where for no apparent reason the advert story introduces the bearded paedo who's got his eye on the little boy as a potential grooming victim?
This advert caught my attention because it's the first one I've seen on UK television for many years to feature an all white family. An extremely bold and daring move from Sky!
@@titanax1390 the ethnicity of people in adverts is extremely important to corporations. Nowadays, they at least need to be seen to be caring about diversity. This is to try and impress the public, shareholders, and protect their profits. They're worried that by not having black people in their adverts, they might be seen as 'racist'.
@@titanax1390 blablabla... wake up. Look at adverts now, 90% have a black family or something. It's fine but it's got out of hand and is just so forced. Adverts shouldn't be political, just sell a product.
@@starfire4030 that's a rather cynical view on the matter. Embracing diversity doesn't just mean ramming black people into every advert possible. There's a lot more to it than that.
90% of ads now have mixed race couples….not reflecting uk at all. And over Christmas there were ads featuring black and white familles eating Christmas dinner together? I find Star Wars more believable
Imagine going to a RU-vid upload of a tv advertisement to moan that kids these days watch too much TV 🤦🏻♀️ just complain about it in line at the grocery store like miserable sods had to do back in the GOOD OLD DAYS
They need to do another advert where the kid realises that he's wasted all his magic GETTING Sky Glass, and should have saved it for trying to find something that's actually worth watching and worth all the money his parents are paying for it!!!! There's a reason why it HAS to come with Netflix as standard Kid!!! Test your wizarding skills on trying to make it so I DON'T still need to put my pin number in to watch a mildly scary horror movie on Sky Movies on an afternoon even though every child setting on my box is turned OFF!!!!!!
