Love the review! The watch is pretty nice! I like the brightness and colors of the screen. The overview of the course and the green is so cool! This could come into handy for sure.

Great review, thanks. Got one earlier this month and couldn't figure out the course view and moving the line around for different distances, but you helped and clarified it. Not sure about your watch, but mine has the tap the screen and it brings it back up without having to hit the on/off button. Thanks!

Great watch - just arrived and been playing with it all afternoon. FYI, can't think of any other country in 'Europe' / Middle & Far East that does not use anything other than the metric system! UK (Not Ireland) and U.S. are pretty much the only countries that use antiquated imperial system. Thanks for the video. BTW - double tap the screen now and the face lights up!

I've always liked Sky Caddie products. I'm waiting to pull the trigger until a new version comes out that adds better battery life. Do you have any idea about any new versions coming down the pipe?

Yes it’s future packed for sure. SkyCaddie gave us a demo unit to review, so we didn’t use the promotion but sounds like a good one.

I find that when I "double tap" the face of the watch, it comes out of sleep mode, in between functions when golfing.

That’s a great question. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t, but I don’t have a pair of polarized sunglasses test it out on right now. Maybe someone else can chime in here hopefully

I just received this watch as a gift and developed a question, how do you get the GIR to update to 1 for example for a particular hole? I haven’t figured that out yet

I love the features and touch screen for golf, but I’m still skeptical on wearing a watch while playing, just doesn’t sit well with me for some reason

I can totally see that. I will say that this watch, while big and chunky, was unoticeable to me during my swings on the course. It's feather light too.

I LOVE my LX5, got it a few years ago! The ONLY thing I HATE!!!!!! Is the god awful magnetic charger! You hardly touch it and it pops off or comes loose enough that it won’t charge but looks connected! Their next version needs usb-c charging! If they JUST updated that I’d buy another one!
