the best glitch i ever encountered was a guard slowly flying towards me a few feet off the ground. He was, i guess, doing the swimming animation on land for some reason and it was kinda terrifying tbh

I remember buying a house in riften after the cival war and it was the only time I was legit scared out of my home. I furnished it fully then went to bed I woke up and found what looked like weeping angels. I ran outside screaming like a bitch. I said "you guys can have the house!" I left and never came back

A courier had walked into the dawnstar Sanctuary and started having a good chat with one of the initiates.

I used to have a glitch on LE where dragons would sometimes fly away during fights then just randomly pop back up later on same health as when they flew off. If I remember correctly, after one popped back up I used bend will on it, flying around another dragon pops in and I land after it starts attacking. Then I either used call dragon or summon Durnehviir. Three dragons proceeded to have a physics defying battle, flying and fighting in all directions. I'm not sure who was fighting who after a few minutes. You're darn right I used bend will again and got in on that nauseating event.

I like the falling mammoth/cow/horse glitch, most other glitches were fixed in the patches but never that one!

One of the most silly glitches I've seen is random NPC's/Guards or enemies falling from the sky for no apparent reason ... Sometimes to their death.

Several. 1: a dragon spawned in the solid rock of a mine. Parts of its body would occasionally be visible in the tunnels. Couldn't kill it because I couldn't get to the body for more than a second. It killed all the miners. Weird. Ok, reload. 2. Any vreature, including a mammoth suddenly shoots way up in the air and then falls down dead. Once I saw a tiger shooting across the sky like a meteor, falls dead. I thought maybe a giant whacked him but I found no giant in the reverse trajectory. 3. Dumb dog sitting on lake bed barking and panting 4. NPC including dog or follower being partially submerged in floor or ground, blissfully unaware. 5. Random trees or shrubs that are not connected to the ground 6. Followers or shop keepers who are behind me suddenly going through me and spawning in front of me while I am trying to pick up stuff. 7. A slain dragon refusing to give up his soul but instead follows me by respawning in towns, sprawled across the ground or half in the ground 8. Slain dragons that flap in the breeze like a paper kite, or slain heavy creatures that slide down a rocky hill faster than I can run.

My favorite is the dragon skeleton flight where if you hit a dragon skeleton with firebolt it goes flying

That was a big chicken! Let's cut it's head off and let it run around awhile. Bet even dragons stop to watch it. Oh let's not forget the hold wide barbacue after.

I wish I had a giant chicken. Also, I once tried to have a wedding and Lydia (who died) spawned in and I had to hide her body to get married.

I once had a glitch when a dragon attacking me was straight up invisible. You could hear it roar and watch it spout frost but it was invisible. I managed to kill it and collect its soul and loot it only because of the animation effect when you absorb its soul

I wondered why my mannequins wondered around it scared me when i saw mirak walking around in my house

A lot of my npcs get stuck in the ground with only their heads sticking out and looking around.

I remember when I first saw the mannequins move. I thought it was suppose to be an Easter egg for Weeping Angels from Doctor Who.

So, during the companions quest, I think Skjor, one of the companions, either dies or gets injured. Well, I was at dark water crossing, fighting a dragon. And an unarmored, halfway sticking out of the ground skjor is just sliding around as I'm fighting this dragon. And when I go back to the companions, Skjor is there in jorrvaskar and is just a normal npc. I have a video of it and he is still back at jorrvaskar to this very day.

I once came across a giant the was the size of a normal npc human. I had idea what I was looking at so i approached it and it sent my ass to the moon.

I had no clue the Giant death thing was a glitch. I thought that's just how strong they were suppose to be.

I once found a vampire in castle volikar that was named "whiterun guard"

the funneist glitch ive seen is a dragon dying from fall damage.... i'll just let that one sink in.

You can pick up all my crops and sell them to the nearest vendor, and I won't care. You can bring a dragon to spew fire over my house, and I won't mind. You can bring death and destruction every step you take, and I'll applaud. Just don't kill my little chicken. I love him.

I once killed a dragon, only to have it glitch back to life as a skeleton and try to kill me again. I couldn't kill it again, since it was technically dead, and somehow could do me damage but I couldn't hurt it. So, there's a giant undead unkillable skeledragon flying somewhere around Dawnstar

I had a glitch once where I entered a building in riften and there were randomly like 50 thieves in there. They were just all running around trying to hide. Then I exited the house and all of them followed me out. The next thing i Know theres a full out battle between the thieves and everyone else in riften. It was pretty random, but I had to reload my game as many characters in riften were dead.

A T-pose Lydia psychically doing melee damage to opponents without drawing a sword or moving her... anything.

I’ve had Cicero attend my wedding, before the dark brotherhood quest line, I just helped him with his wagon and off he went, that’s real friendship there. Ps: on another save whilst using a mod on which I could marry Cicero (don’t judge me) three other Cicero’s attending Cicero’s wedding 😐 many a Cicero I’ve seen in my day.

My favorite glitch where a Dawnstar Guard came into the dark brotherhood sanctuary like he owns the damn place. And I still have photos of him chilling out with the assassins.

Best glitch ever: During my wedding (I'd already become thane of every hold and master of every guild) a dragon priest shows up in the temple of Mara, and proceeds to be killed by General Tulius, Brynjolf, and Nazir.

One time I climbed to the top of a pretty large mountain (dont remember where at exactly) on the back of my trusty steed, and I got to the top and decided to get off. I accidentally shouted right as I got off of my horse and it shot through the sky like a rocket. I watched as it just kinda went off into the distance. Not a second after that I see the horse come right back by me going in the same direction as before. A few more seconds go by and it disappears and it happens again! I saved a file and still have it to this day, my old horse forever stuck in an orbit around skyrim.

Lydia's jealousy transcends this mortal plane of existence. She won't let another woman or even death itself come between you!

The first time I noticed the mannequins wandering was when I was entered my manor and just caught them stepping back on their stands. That was far creepier than seeing them walk around.

The first time I've ever encountered a giant: I tried to sneak around their camp, but my companion got a bright idea to attack one of them without me noticing. I soon notice that my companion is no longer by my side. At that very moment I see a body flying in the distance at an incredible speed across my screen. I had never been so confused... Of course after I went back to visit the Giants to confirm if what I saw really was what I thought it was. And a giant did that exact same thing to me. I was above the throat of the world within seconds.

Even death won't stop your true friends from attending your wedding. This glitches are pretty funny. Except the mannequins one, that one is creepy. I hate mannequins..

Sometimes, and seemingly randomly, when going through the plains near whiterun, mammoths will just...spawn mid air and fall to their death.

Dragonborn sees giant chicken, turns to housecarl, "we're gonna need a bigger cooking pot." As for the mannequin's first thought, "Ah crap, weeping Angel's."

I recently had a falmer glitch into a mini falmer. I was so confused and I thought it was a falmer child trying to attack me. 🤣

Lol I didn't know that people asked the devs to bring back the Giant Space Program! That's kinda funny!

My favorite glitch I had was Glitchy the Dragon. Good old Glitchy was a permanent feature in my Xbox 360 version of the game and even had some appearances in my PC version. Glitchy was a Dragon that just wanted to relax. His usual perch of choice was Bonestrewn Crest. Where he could enjoy the fine view of Eastmarch while swooping down in all his glitchy glory to eat the occasional traveler to the nearby hotsprings. Life was good for dear Glitchy. However, Glitchy had one flaw the led him to being shunned by his brethren and indeed made the surrounding landscape nearly rendered uninhabitable and not for the fact he was a fire breathing monster. No, Glitchy caused everything around him.. To become glitched and laggy. NPC's flying off into the distance as they forgot the ground was there. And 5 FPS as you wander his domain. But nothing around him was as glitched as Glitchy himself. Glitchy was a master of flight to such a degree that even Alduin was forced to respect (thus the reason he was brought back in the first place). For Glitchy, could fly backwards. Sideways and diagonally as well. Truly he was a wonder to behold. He also mastered his power to such a degree that he could fly backwards OUT of combat causing his health to regenerate to full, then come swooping in a spiral formation back into the fray. Eastmarch was largely left in Glitchy's capable claws though the occasion roaming dragon would approach. Perhaps seeking to learn from this master dragon. There are many theories as to how Glitchy achieved this amazing power that even Alduin himself acknowledged. Some believe that in a fit of fancy Sheogorath decided to bless/curse Glitchy. To be given amazing power, but be shunned by the world. Others believe that he is the dragon equivalent to a daedra, or a daedric servant to Sheogorath using the form of the dragon to instill fear and chaos across the land. Perhaps he just wanted to be, the very best... like no dragon ever was. Whatever the case. After several battles between Glitchy and the Dragonborn. The Dragonborn, begrudgingly at first, came to acknowledge the great beast as the one dragon he could not slay. As even in the one battle they fought where the Dragonborn was victorious. Glitchy refused to surrender his soul, and his corpse flew into the void. Disappearing into the mountains. Thus, ends the legend. Of Glitchy the Dragon.

in my game, the guy that you’re supposed to give Frost to (i know his name but i’m not sure how to spell the last part, i think it’s like Louis Letrush or something) is outside of whiterun by the stables in his normal spot, BUT there are five of him and they are standing in a circle constantly saying “goodmorning” is while facing each other

Once I came across the mannequins walking around in my house. I played around with spells on them, and used the calm spell on one. You won't believe what I saw standing in front of a seat during my wedding.

When he mentions the "skyrim space program" Me: ah yes. Remembers the time I almost pooped myself because a bandit outlaw became a astronaut, right before he attacked me with a mace.

I wish I would get more of these kind of glitches. All I end up getting are quest-breaking ones. 😤

"Having an alchemy station" *shows enchanting lab*

1. Goats and bunnies ascending to the heavens until finally being smitten to the ground resulting in their death. 2. Items you place on a killed dragon will fly in the air after the dragon despawns. 3. People sitting quite some distance away from their seats 4. And finally: Seeing Nazeem visit the cloud district. (I was very confused when I first saw that, I just had to end the madness)

Had the bandits show up when I was getting married. Saw the dude at first just sitting in the chair eating bread. Then all hell broke loose. Ysolda was pissed at me ... And once, a naked courier ran up to me to deliver a letter.

The tiny whiterun guard is hilarious lmao. I would love to see him attack the player XD

so i got what might be the most interesting combination of bugs ever. i got the bug where you get a letter from yourself for killing an npc which is arguably my favorite bug because it makes it so you can spawn an npc of yourself in your game. i never collected the reward from the letter (was afraid it would remove the ability to spawn myself in the game as an npc through the console) but then when i finally decided to settle down and get married the most bizarre thing happened at my wedding. among the companions and friends i made through the game sitting in the audience their i was watching my own wedding AS A 50 FOOT TALL GIANT! amazingly this is my first time encountering the giant npc bug and it happened not one hour after watching this video. needless to say it was a wedding i will never forget.

One glitch is that when I killed paarthurnax his body followed me everywhere. Even in cities, maybe as a reminder for my wrongful doings.

I'm gonna be hella disappointed if I don't encounter a giant chicken in my VR adventures lol

Did you know, that if you shoot a firebolt at a dragons skeleton that it will blast it away. Now if you are wanting to give the locals a scare, blast the skeleton into the city. Its VERY funny

I had the wedding thing happen, though it didn't fuck up the marriage. Everyone loaded in and Lydia flopped bodily onto the rug at the entrance. lol.

I had my horse ride a butterfly once. That was hilarious.

My husband is playing his first playthrough in Skyrim and I love to watch his reactions to some things. When fast traveled once His character and horse were floating above Falkreath. He freaked out. I started laughing hard.

I had two Lydia’s appear at my wedding. So I was being married to Lydia and a doppelgänger just stood there. Did I marry a person using an illusion spell?

My favourite glitch is when Alduin drops by, right before my head gets chopped off.

I had the best wedding in Skyrim once, everyone came together for the wedding. And then a friggen brawl broke out during the wedding, it was hella awesome XD

One of my favority moments during my playthroughs was seeing a guy get beheaded during and his corpse just getting back up and get attacked by everyone around.. not being able to get damage so they just kept hitting the standing headless guy

I was approaching Whiterun, unaware of what giants were at the time. I had two of my friends in the same room as me watching, and one said, “Just leave it alone. It kills you very easily.” and my other confirmed-but being the stubborn show-off I am I said, “But I know what I’m doing, I bet I can beat it so no problem”. Within seconds I was ascending to the Cloud District.

I had Sven as a follower once and running around a cave when he suddenly came swimming around midair... He kept swimming until I changed map. Other than that I've had the occasional flying horse hovering halfway up a tree.

How about mounting a horse in water and being able to walk on said water. Best way to get around, in my opinion.

A couple of years back I found a pretty hairpulling glitch related to the dragon on the last one. So, I was happyly climbing to said altar to gight the dragon and get the shout, no? Well, just when I engaged him I used the Dragonrend shout to bring it down, but it didn't do that; instead, what it did was to send the dragon's body flying upwards and spawned an invicible, flying skeletal dragon. Not a funny experience I'd say

I can't begin to count how many times I've walked into lakeside Manor to find the mannequins in different locations and positions. It creepe the hell out of Me even after I found out why it happens.

Freakiest thing is when you're trying to sneak around a giant, you take your eyes off it for a few moments, and suddenly the ground starts to shake. OH SH**

My favourite glitch I've experienced happened because I was apparently stood at a bad angle when I began to mine. My character just suddenly went flying across the screen but he was still mining in thin air. Serena disappeared and never respawned.

I've NEVER run into the giant chicken or NPC problem, and I have over 2k hours in the game. Maybe the (edit: unofficial) patches on PC version have fixed it? Idk...

So that's why i found Lydia dead in the temple. I took all her stuff phew could have lost them.

I was in the process of finishing Daedric Prince Meridia's quest "Break of Dawn" when my friend told me if you don't send your companion away before the main room, they'll be stuck there forever. So I loaded an earlier save and I sent Iona away and completed the quest only to find myself standing several hundred feet above Meridia's statue, holding onto Dawnbreaker and then plummeting to my death. So I loaded the point right before you finish the quest and spent the next half hour following instruction from a video on how to not die after this glitch happens. One of those times in your life when you question if you're playing the game or if the game is playing you. LOL

I had a glitch where the mammoths of Skyrim would randomly fall out of the sky and die.

When I was younger I always sided with the stormcloaks but the older I got the more I understood the empire. I’ve always hated ulfric though.

I had something like the last one happen to me before. While I was riding a horse threw the plains outside Whiterun, I went off a two foot ledge right as a butterfly was passing under, so my horse was riding the butterfly for a solid five minutes before falling off.

Yeah, Mannikins. First time I ran into this, I had just purchased a house in Solstheim and loaded up the manikins. Then, I went to sleep and woke to discover one of the mannikins standing over my bed. Really freaked me out. I thought it was some new sorcery in the DLC. I attacked the poor mannikin furiously and all it did was just stand there! I found out later it was a bug, but to this day I keep a sharp eye on those freaking mannikins!

MANNEQUINS ARE SYNTHS

Speaking about weddings and size glitches, i remember in one of my walkthroughs my ceremony was actually attended by the clone of my character, who had also been twice the size of me. Can you imagine a giant khajiit just casually sitting on a bench among other people? It bugged me out to say the least. I have also received a letter from him (myself) later in the game but could not track where he dwelt

when i did the meridas star quest the first time, merida (the light ball) was attacked by a dragon and i was stuck in sky without the ability to move.

A glitch ive found that i havent seen many (really anyone) talk about is the paralyze glitch where if you paralyze something with a spell or enchantment then paralyze it again after the spell wears off but while theyre getting up their body stretches and will fly around you really fast my personal favorite is the cow outside whiterun since its a open area to fly and lets you see it plus they look funny enjoy :)

So the giant chicken in the outro of the last video was foreshadowing. Nice touch!

Not a fun glitch but I put a weapon in the weapon rack (dont remember the weapon) went outside and came back and it was either floating above the rack or just gone

I always run into tiny Falmer in Blackreach

you should get footage of a revived npc/creature getting giant-slammed into space during the night time. if done properly, they turn into dust as they fly through the night sky, looking like a giant shooting star.

My favorite glitch: I put my ebony mail armor (daedric artifact) on one of my mannequins and recollected it. When I returned to the house after some purposeless promenade another ebony mail armor was on it. Again recollected it. Now I have two of them! It is not unique anymore...
