About Polymorph Skeever, there's some remnants of where it was supposed to be used in Riften. The prison even still has an interactable skeever-sized grate you can open, next to the Prisoner Belongings Chest, that happens to lead to an alternate way out of the prison. There are similar grates in various other places in a few cities, but I only know of the one in the prison actually being useable.

There is that one random encounter where you turn the madwoman into a skeever with the Wabbajack. Maybe they made that spell for her.

The skeever spell might have been connected to that guy obsessed with the rats during the thieves guild. He would have that level of knowledge on skeevers.

I'm actually surprised the ability to polymorph enemies never made it into the game. That would have been a great defensive option for mages.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the Polymorph Skeever spell was a spell that you would have eventually been able to acquire from Brelyna Maryon from the college. Only reason I say that is because in the quest to raise her disposition she ends up polymorphing you into tons of different creatures in hopes of perfecting _some_ kind of spell.

5:50 When the argonian approaches you on the docks she is distraught by the memories of the Dwemer that the lexicon gives her. We can infer from her dialogue and the content of the quest that the lexicon was used to store the very memories and experiences of the Dwemer as both a tool to share knowledge with each other and perhaps for safekeeping. The way this works isn't fully explained, but it seems like whoever is holding on to the lexicon is actively interacting with it, both adding their own memories to it and receiving memories from it. In the ruin we are seeing the argonian's memories thanks to the cube, which stored her memories after she had escaped with it.

I think the “ghosts” are just from-deepest-fathoms memories and are being shown to you by the lexicon, or at least that’s what I a,ways thought

The skeever spell wouldve been really cool for the dark brotherhood. They had that old man mage, so maybe he had a sidequest to teach you the spell to infiltrate an area and kill a target

I love the ancient knowledge perk, as it made blacksmithing notably easier to increase. Tho it sadly is bugged and works with all armor that ISN'T dwarven.

I've always thought polymorph skeever would've been given to us by Peryite, in place of Spellbreaker with some additional perks had it been properly developed.

For what it's worth, I think those "ghosts" aren't ghosts but rather echoes of what happened, notice how they're orange and every spirit in the game is blue? I'm guessing they might even be from the Lexicon itself. Also the Thief stone doesn't have a power, it's an XP boost to stealth skills, like lockpicking. The Tower stone is the one with the power that lets you open locks.

You can find remnants of level design for the skeever spell. Crawl spaces to others areas only skeevers can get to. Typically you find them very early game. Like in the main quest. It's really cool to see that it was being built but was cut

The Aetherium Crown + The Ritual Stone is especially powerful since when you revive the dead with it, after their timer of being resurrected runs out, they don't turn into dust like normal resurrection spells. So you can re-resurrect corpses which allows you to essentially lead your own army into battle that you can resurrect at will. Plus it helps with battles with multiple enemies as every slain enemy is another soldier to your undead army.

About ancient knowledge: this ability increases the effectiveness of all armor, BUT NOT dvemer armor. Its a bug. It's fixed in Unofficial Patch

When the "aetherium crown" came up on the video I was extremely confused, then I realized, Nate used a mod variant.

Actually, for the Dwarven Knowledge effect, it boosts all armour except for dwarven by 25%, making it way more useful than you’d imagine, even if it is due to an oversight. I do believe that this was fixed by the unofficial patch IIRC.

I wish we'd gotten more unique spells rewarded from specific quests, especially the concept of polymorph. Polymorph wolf would be the perfect addition for someone trying to play as a classic Dracula style vampire.

I think the skeever thing was meant to be some sort of quest where you enter a cave, find a tunnel only big enough for a skeever to fit through, learn the spell, and once completed you get turned back somehow.

10:55 Note, the stone Nate describes is the Tower stone, that is the one that opens Expert or lower locks once a day. The Thief stone is one of the three Guardian stones, this one in particular increasing the speed at which your thief skills level up (those being all of the skills in between Light armor and Illusion)

I've thought about the Ancient Knowledge thing for a long time, and the only conclusion I was able to come to was that it gave the dragonborn knowledge of tonal smithing. Armor just doesn't become more effetive because of knowlege, but forging does. The dragonborn must have been gifted with the smithing knowledge of whole generations of dwemer, and thus became the first tonal smith in millenia. The armor doesn't just have better stats, it is better.

Easily missed, but if you complete a quest found in the Frostflow lighthouse location in the Pale and return the remains of a man to a fire in the lighthouse you get the Sailor's Repose active effect which improves healing spells by 10 percent.

"By a factor of 100" means multiplied by 100, that's not what the Steed Stone does...

The ancient knowledge is bugged. It gives that bonus to every armor EXCEPT drawven armor.

Dunno if you covered this before but there's a secret summoning spell you can get from a guy at the mages collage, the one who wants u to gather 10 dwemer cogs and eventually gives you the weapon keening, you also gain the ability to summon his ghost afterward, a novice, seemingly unremarkable spell, however, he appears to be invulnerable to damage, and can be resummoned after his 60 sec timer runs out for very little magic, making him an amazing distraction for any playthrough.

During the from deepest depths quest, it isn't ghosts you are seeing in the dwemer ruin, it is the memory the lexicon is "imprinting" on you while in the ruin. It's similar to the last quest of the mages guild, where you see the magical energy/memory of Savos and the others. It's not the ghosts that you see exactly, it's the memory of the souls passing through the area as the dragonborn goes though them.

I'd never considered using the Crown with ability Stones. I always just put the Lover Stone on it, cuz I like being OP. Turns out the Crown is even more OP than I thought.

I had the feeling heavy armor in generell has the effect of boosting intimidation. I always passed those test while i failed the other speech options.

I remember reading about the Ancient Knowledge effect that it was actually bugged, and gave 25% boost to any armor BUT dwarven. Can anyone confirm that ?

My favorite "secret magic" was abusing Restoration and Alchemy loopholes to make broken enchantments like "-2.076e99 carry weight" onto something stupid like a ring, and then being able to carry infinite weight. Does that count? 😂 Before you call me a noob or a cheater, I saved those exploits until endgame, and I only created them as sort of "Legendary Gear" mainly for my own head canon reasons. I loved the fact that Altair's armor was the strongest set in AC2 coupled with the sidequest journey Ezio took in order to acquire it. In my mind; someday in the future our player character's time in Tamriel will be over and a new hero will rise to the occasion. I like the idea that someday, maybe a new protagonist will stumble across Dovahkiin's old gear, truly epic garments, jewelry, and armor adorned with the kind of magic that would make a Daedric Priest blush. Plus it was fun to have infinite health and infinite unarmed damage bound to a pair of gloves, just bum rushing the mightiest of dragons and putting them down with no more than one gloved strike.

Spectral Arrow makes me think it was meant to be a Bound Weapon but was replaced with the Bound Bow.

I like how he tried to test the Daedric intimidation thing on the Riften gate guards, but they stop talking to him and pull out their weapons (which you can tell was because of a dragon attack simce they were looking at the sky)

Sailor's Repose is from the Frostflow Abyss dungeon, a family horror story found in a Lighthouse, and performing an act of cleansing... Mother's/Father's Love is obtained from the Hearthfire DLC, just sleep in a custom home, with adopted children, without being a Werewolf...

I found this out by accident and it isnt really hidden per say but i still think its cool. If you have completed the alteration story line from the college of winterhold youll get the Dragon skin (maybe dragon hide i cant remember) spell. This spell when cast reduces all physical damage by 80% which i think is prettt nice. But when you pair this spell with the Lord standing stone it becomes amazing. The lord standing stone gives you a constant effect of reducing all physical and magical damage by 20%. Which means when paired with the Dragon Hide spell makes you 100% immune to all physical damage for 45 seconds i believe. I tested this out a lot and it was really fun to walk in to a bandit camp or gaint camp and just stand while they try to kill with swords and bows with is literally impossible with these two off

If you use the special steam breath Dwarven Helmet from Dragonborn DLC, that Ancient Knowledge perk can make a Dwarven set as defensive as Daedric.

Spectral arrow is just magic missile, element neutral magic attack. Wish it was included in the game in a balanced form.

I love the spectral arrow it makes me feel so cool.
