Just started the game but had a lot of prior knowledge: I go to falkreath and a dragon sweeps in and attacks so the guards and I take it out and after on of them goes “if those white run guards can take out a dragon so can we” then they all stand around and comment on how they’ve never seen anything like it.

That Falkreath guard is one hellish annoyance. I paralyze him with the Ultimate Paralysis Spell, that lasts more than a day, and everytime I return, the same stupid question, k... "The only dog I see out here is you". Why Bethesda didn't add a way to be sarcastic all the time, I don't know. Very limited options of sarcasm, aside from some of the Daedric Princes and the Dark Brotherhood. Those cursed Volkihar vampires don't respect you, even after you killed Harkon, and will not hesitate to attack, if provoked. Time for a purification.

Just answer the fucking question! It takes about three seconds, you get the quest which you can then ignore and all is fine. The way you do it, It seems like you want that interaction to occur again.

@@IdiotamSpielen Since you don't know my playstyle, it's reasonable for you to be thinking that. I "make the bed" in my saves, before doing anything less important. By that, I mean progressing one or two stages of the main questlines, except for the Thieves Guild and the Companions, and not tarnishing my journal with some minor quests. See, I don't appreciate controlling one that undermines herself on mediocre affairs for some random fools. That's why I haven't killed the guard, yet, or accepted the question.

Just got a new PC and OG Skyrim doesn't run on it anymore. At war with myself if I should spend months trying to get it to run like I did that time when I had too many mods I didn't want to play the game without or it I should take advantage of the reduced price the anniversary edition has on steam at the moment...

Buy special edition when it's on sale. It's totally worth it alone because of all the crazy stuff the moddong community has done. Anniversary edition itself is basically just a dlc with all the creation club content which includes stuff like new player homes, new pets and new weapons and armors. I personally haven't bought Anniversary edition and am totally happy without it.
