Skyrim Glitch Workaround: You are a pure melee build and the dragon will not land

I thought that I might use the glitch from the shout "Marked for Death" to gain a quick kill over this dragon. However, the shout seemed to behave normal. So I was lucky in that this dragon landed nearby so that I could kill it up close and personal.

Here's a tip you want to build a character to the max. Find a weak enemy that can withstand hits but not die in one hit like a Bandit. get healing hands and healing then let them hit you and hit them with a dagger a few times then heal them an iron weapon and repeat. Continue this process till the designated abilities are maxed or to your liking. Since all abilities require things to connect or have an NPC in range. Getting hit will slowly rank up armor and healing and healing enemies will increase restoration same with one hand and 2 hand so om and so forth. If the enemies die in one hit just move to the next rank enemies like Forsworn then gradually move up the latter. But also if you do the Marunes Razer quest you can literally make your hero max. Cause at the end of the quest you'll fight a Demora Lord that even if it dies and you resurrect it and kill it it won't turn to ash. Just resurrect him and kill it how ever you choose then repeat process. Sneak hit him you'll sneak will level so on and softly forth. If you leave the Shrine of Mehrunes Dragon this trick will not work. Just stay in the treasure room and max out your character before leaving.

Thank you for this very helpful tip, bro! Loving your level of detail! I am unfortunately very pedantic when I choose a play style for my character. I like to see it through until it either works and I can progress meaningfully or it fails miserably and I have to start over with the basics in mind. Morrowind is the perfect example of this. 11 different versions of the same build until I understood the mechanics. 😆 Plus I like the challenges I face like I have here where I don't just have a maxed out character that can kill everything without much thought and not be challenged like in easier difficulties. I hated normal difficulty. Karstaag and the Ebony Warriors were the only memorable parts of those playthroughs. I hope others read your method however and can take advantage of it. Keep up the good work, bro! 👍

@@thedestroia5537 you're welcome. I tend to tinker around with my characters. Also remember when moving up the latter you may be forced to fight some undead for your level grinding. So you may have to invest in the heal undead spell and necromatic healing so you can continue to pull off a neverending chain of level grinding. My biggest challenge is making characters from other games. Making them Skyrim style. Lol. But it does take a lot of tinkering to find the right build. Like take for instance I read a lot about how so many people hate the Dark Elves race. But if used right they're amazing vampires. Cause their fire resistance makes vampires over powered. Just at vampiric stage 1 is -20% to fire, but with the Dark Elf racial trait +50% fire resistance, your vampire literally now has a +30% flame resistance. Even if your vampire is level 4 stage vampiric you'll be at 0% flame resistance. This method will keep your vampire alive much longer. But there are some other things like spell combos that I still need to tinker with like illusion for a stealth mage. One of the illusion perks silences spells. I'm just glad they didn't bring the Blacksmith's Hammers from Morrowind to Skyrim. That honestly would be annoying to constantly repair gear.

I remember when I had time to tinker with characters. 😀 Now it's just play the game and adjust as I go. The less thinking, the better. I have limited time to play now. Beating Alduin is the current goal. But I want to build up my character's armour and weapons. There's also a couple of side quests where I have to fight alone. Once I beat those, I'm ready for Skuldafn! Dark Elves are awesome! I beat Morrowind, The Tribunal and Blood moon as the same Dark Elf Character. Mind you, it was on the easiest difficulty and I used all of the best equipment I could find! I still want to do a vampire character. But with how often I play, it'll take years. Oh well. I loved the hammers, repairing my own gear and watching my armourer skill increase! 😆

@@thedestroia5537 my issue with vampires is, once you hit level 10 vampires start attacking cities and towns and sometimes they'll kill quest givers. So I usually grind like there's no tomorrow so by level 6 I'm already building the Falkreath home and by the time the vampires start becoming a threat I'm already halfway through the Dawngaurd storyline. My only issue by doing the Dawngaurd DLC first is getting the Elder Scroll: Dragon before even starting the main storyline to where the first dragon pops up. Cause I'm usually level 30 at the end and by that time doing the dragon quests you'll start seeing Legendary Dragons. I try to avoid towns and cities till it's all over. Vampires are fun to a point but they do require a lot of maintenance. Like keeping your vampire in check. Cause once the hunger level hits stage 4, yes you become stronger but at the cost of you being feared. Causing people to attack you on sight at stage 4, just remember you'll need to feed by sneaking up on the unexpected to reset your hunger.

@vincentvalentine142 That's one of the problems with Skyrim. Although it's open world. There's still an order to how you complete quests. But I use autosave and keep my last five saves in case the game breaks like when I fought Movarth and was outnumbered. I had to go back about two hours to my last save. At least that's my workaround for the problems Skyrim has. I was a vampire in Oblivion which was fun until further into the main questline and I got owned by the stronger enemies.
