when i first played skyrim i really lost track of quests (which i didnt know what main quest is anyway) after i talked everyone in riverwood and somehow ended up in markarth prison mine which by the time had about 15 quest marks on map and bounties on most holds
Things horses are good for in skyrim: Quick and safe travel on roads Travelling up steep slopes Cool mounted combat Ripping holes in spacetime to create a slipspace stream and potential destroy the fabric of reality Keeping in your stables at home
Imagine going to work one day, getting ready to execute a dude, when a dragon attacks. You escape and later find out the bloke on the chopping block went all over the country stealing things, ended the civil war, and killed that dragon in 10 days. And the while while he wore nothing but rags and just yelled at things.
Bethesda: it takes people nearly 31 hours to beat Skyrim if they take their time, 18 if they rush through Speed runners: 30 minutes or less, take it or leave it
Took me 8h on my first playthrough, and I ran past the outer part of Skaldaf something temple so had to fight keepermanguy + 2 Dragons had to restart there I tried running up to the staff and activating it before he could grab it but I never realised the portal opened
@@colin-campbell Using cheat is not legit. a glitch is not a cheat, it's very different. the cheat have been added by the developers for ease testing phase. but the glitch are problems inherent in the game, related either to its programming. The glitch are part of the game, but the cheat were added... And if you think that stupid, they exist speedrun without glitch. i'm sorry if i've make some mistakes, i'm french ^^"
Also I was expecting almost everything this guy did to revolve around the main quest so I was laughing my ass off when I suddenly saw him in riften buying an amulet of Marra and offering to get married to the random dude on the bench.EDIT: and then he goes to his wedding ceremony and blinds everyone by reading an elder scroll
HammerTimePlays 32 minutes in: oh wow look a dragon! It saved me from getting executed! Me 32 minutes minutes in: oh wow look another cosmetic section ma character
Some glitches are found accidentally by players who then tell them on the internet. Others are particularly seeked out for by people who know what to look for. Speenrunners try to reproduce the glitches and find out 1. If it's possible to do them consistently without RNG and 2. If they enable them to skip certain parts of a game. Very short conclusion, hope that helps you even 6 months later :)
@@glub1381 The problem wasn't that he didn't know what an exploit was, the problem was that he actually tried to correct someone about it as though it would make him seem more intelligent, while his overconfidence resulted in the complete opposite effect.
Entigamer7 My name is Barry Allen, and I am the fastest man alive. When I was a child I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father went to prison for the murder. Then an accident made me the impossible. To the outside world, I’m an ordinary forensic scientist, but secretly, I use my speed to fight crime and find others like me. And one day, I’ll find who killed my mother and get justice for my father. I am the Flash.
This dude after 30 minutes: ends main quest Me after 30minutes : Honestly Camilla Valerius is not that beautiful... unless I download a mod for that...
Can someone please explain how the heck people discover these glitches? Is there a team of dudes deep under ground just practicing weird shit all the time like jumping off horsed etc. Until something works haha
Not at all. Most glitches are found because of the game files. Speedrunners often check the game files for glitches, the same reason hackers check webpages for security vulnerabilities.
@@XxKINGatLIFExX That's actually something i've always wondered. Listen to this: A speedrunner checked game files of GTA San Andreas and found the "gym glitch" which would NEVER be founded without the game files. It required you to kill everyone inside the gym, go to the "dark area" and use a jetpack, then making a boat invisible, and throwing C4 on it to make it visible. It's actually more complex than it sounds, but Im sure nobody would ever figure it out without the game files, where im sure some comments were made about the glitch.
Most Bethesda glitches involve the games animations. Glitches are often found by people trying to bug out those animations by getting them to continue after they were supposed end, canceling them, and all sorts of other to with things like: quick save/quick load, opening menus, activating object, or using items. The camera is also a bit buggy and can be used to interact with objects normally out of reach. There's plenty of stuff to exploit if you know where to look and because Bethesda codes pretty much all their games off of modified versions of the same engine glitches that worked in previous games sometimes work in the new ones so no need to find new glitches if we can keep using the same ones.
My favorite part about this video is that he has a technique to skip 99% of the events you would normally need to wait for but Esbern’s door is the one thing that he had to just stand there for
Its quite simple, im bleak falls barrow all the puzzles follow a rule of “one, two then two” as an example for the first puzzle you activate the first stone once, then both others twice
Him: beats game in under 25 minutes Me: Kills dragon boss In soul caring without shouts Boss: Ah dovaking you have defeated me My character: why do you call me that Boss: just a hunch Also me: oh yeah I have to talk to the jarl in whiterun about that dragon attack
Okay Waz, you are absolutely insane, i just watched ESO's reaction video of your initial 26:03 minute speedrun of this and was blown out, this is fucking crazy, you are hands down the God of Skyrim, this should not be possible, you have planned so far ahead you should be playing chess against world class Grandmasters whilst eating your damn lunch, you are amazing.
