Finally! I had always wished I could use the Dovahkiin's armor until the end (The one that comes out in Skyrim's announcement trailer, you know the studded armor, the iron-banded shield...) But at high levels it was not profitable because I had low statistics ... :(

I had installed this mod with only one objective...kill Alduin in one shot with a iron sword! Unfortunately that character's save files had been corrupted.

This is perfect and actually realistic. Every weapon which was wielded by a legendary hero (Dragonborn) should become an iconic and Legendary weapon. Just look at real life history

This sounds like what Fable 3 tried to do with equipment, only with less jank and disappointment.

There are so many incredible mods for Skyrim, I will be heartbroken if the modders don't recreate them. Sacrosanct and Better Vampires are the only reason I played countless hours growing from a starved vampire in a broken hut to vampire king of Skyrim, and the same goes for every other class and playstyle.

I hope that Signature Equipment mod has an enchant equivalent because I believe weapons and armors don't get better over time but rather get dull or worn out. I get it, it's just for role playing purposes but if it's an enchantment then it may come off as more sensible or justifiable in Skyrim's world. So how does that work? You get the recipe or materials needed for the enchantment itself and then the necessary stuff needed for the ritual, that basically gives the enchantment some sort of a background story or lore already. With that being said, your measly kitchen knife can now cut a guy and the building behind him from a distance because your knife is "coated" or "layered" with an enchantment.

The amount of Fudgemuppet builds I've wanted to try that are ruined by gear that is useless after a certain level, and now there's a mod that makes that gear less useless. Guess this is becoming a must-have in my load order.

OOOOOOOOO I super super dig this. It isn't very realistic at all, but for play throughs beyond the first I love this so much. I always give myself a specific set of armour, and give myself a fitting weapon when I start a new game and set a backstory and role for myself. Its always really disappointing when I have to abandon the perfect weapon for the character because it simply isn't good enough. Damn, bad time to start playing through New Vegas haha! This mod would be perfect there.

Hey brodual, I have downloaded this great weapon mod. It's called liliths tools. It adds very nice and evil looking weapons to the game.They're not exactly lore friendly but they look amazing. It also has it's own quest to obtained the weapons. You should showcase it. I feel that it's one of the most underrated mods.

What a really great idea.

That's a really neat mod. I often stick to a specific set of armor, or two sets of armor since I play with Frost enabled. I'd naturally have a fur set of armor for wilderness exploration to keep warmth up, and then a set of protective gear for dungeon trudging. With a mod like this I could dynamically improve my fur set in a way that makes a bit of sense and grow it's legend instead of stopping at the entrance of every dungeon to change apparel.

Does it work with unique gear as well? Also, I think unique gear should be stronger than normal gear and normal gear ahould increase in increments like 0.5 for every skill level and 0.5 for character level. Unique chould be triple but combine this with a durability mod and a patch where doing more damage breaks your weapon faster would make it balanced. Kind of like the dark souls mod where you do more tou take more damage. But it would take some work to make it balanced. If you add a slop curve leveling system with curved upscale skill based leveling with a unleveled world and unique characters are level 50 and as you level past level 50 they will be 60, 70 and ao on. Level cap for skyrim could be level 100. The only charactwrs that are 100 are bosses you fight, kind of like a souls game.

You know... This mod is the opposite of realism. The gear should get worse with time because of the use... NOT BETTER. Stuff like how fast you swing a weapon, or a multiplier to critical damage does makes sense, not this.

Honestly, the fact that they removed durability from the equip in the TES series was one of the good news that Skyrim brought, and I'm fine with such a mid existing. On the other hand, I'm bummed they removed the durability in FO as well because there it had much more sense and an impact far greater, as you couldn't forge new equipement from scratch like in TES but you had to repair already existing gear pieces

Anybody knows a mod that allows you to mark your equipment with your faction symbol? Like imperial dragon in swords or something. It would be very nice, lore-friendly and immersive

The first mod makes me think a of how legendaries in fallout 4 could have been located or even made, example: kill enough human NPCs and then your weapons what ever they are are given the assassin's legendary, just a thought.😉

Hey Brodual, you should start doing mods for Morrowind and Oblivion if you are running out of mods to review. Judging how you’ve been running on low for a while, I just think it’ll be a smart idea.

I like the idea of this mod, but using the tempering system doesn’t seem like the best option. The weapons can become very powerful through the tempering system, essentially for free. It also clashes with the Loot and Degredation mod. I’d rather it use custom base damage modifiers, like the “honed” or “supple” ones from the base game.

Would you guys ever be able to make decent mod lists for people who havent modded before to got back into modding, I know this channel is mostly for showcases but you guys still consistently show brand new mods that should be considered when either remodding skyrim or if its its for the first time.I know your top 10s kinda address this but a definitive list could and install order is something i could appreciate and reference. You could also update yearly or every six months and go over whats new, whats going of the list, and some things you may put on later depending on the progress of the mod maker. Also excellent mod with the equipment scaling as you use it. My biggest problem whenever jumping in again is the slump my equipment takes when i want to play rather craft. Also this is quite fantastic that it scales with dlc equipment. Keep it up guys, before we know it we will be able to mod skyirm into es6 we want and deserve
