=== No grass and Objects has been updated!!!! === As of this comment, NGIO was updated for a multiple version of skyrim. Download everything like normal. the config for NGIO is in optional downloads section! The look of the Ini is different but it edits the same values and has the same names... This guide is still current!!!! You need one of the main files + www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/42161?tab=files&file_id=496609 & www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/42161?tab=files&file_id=496452

Also, set you resolution to 800x600 windowed with borders until you finish generating the grass cache so you can use your computer for other things like watching a movie or browsing whatever platform you like.

This was very concise. Have to stop it and replay but all good. Question: You didn't mention calculation grass bounds in CK. Had you already done this? It is one of my last questions about the process.

I followed a tutorial that had me use CK, but it didn't change anything. Just find a grass mod that supports DynDOLOD (like Verdant (I think...))

What exactly is the argument at 3:40 for? I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for on my end. For the average player, would the "stock game" folder just be the base default Skyrim main folder? And then "data" is the data folder inside the main folder?

While I know it varies for each person how long does your dyndolod normally take while generating with grass billboards?

GC : 20-40 min Tex - 15 Lod - 10 Dyndo - 15-30 min

did all process but fps 100-> 30 drop. Ngio should be un checked? And Can you explain dyndolod_sse.ini setting? I use 1440p, 4070S

There could be many reasons why you dropped fps. These could vary from the settings used, how many grass, tree and environmental mods you used when generating and where you are in the map. There are engine limitations you have to keep in mind. No, you don't have to disable NGIO, there are settings in there that manage grass distance and fade range. I would suggest going to a discord or some sort of form where you can drop your load order for people to look at.

The mod itself was updated. Check the pinned comment Ini is in optional download

@@Sswaye Now the ini is generated after you run the game once. But you can download it to have it from the start.

@@Sswaye There is no mention of the Grasscontrol.config.txt file anywhere on that page..? And there is also no GrassControl mod? Where do you find that config file?

@@Gathaeryx Ah i see... they updated the page right after i made my tutorial.... download the grass control.ini and configure that. Its a separate download now

@@Sswaye Gotcha, found the settings. Thanks for the tutorial mate, very clear and the best tutorial I found regarding the grass cache, I just got stumped with the new mod version!
