Hi, Slack! I noticed that there was no subtitles in this new video. So i want to ask you if you could enable subtitles for the next videos (i don't know if you forgot or something)? i'm not american myself, and is better for me to read and understand
@Dodoo, yeah sorry about that. That should be corrected by part 3 at the latest, possibly even Part 2, I forget exactly when I noticed that myself. But it is fixed, rest assured. :)
One of my favourite channels I have found lately! Currently watching the orc play through, that’s how I found the channel about a week ago and now that I’m up to date on that I have been loving the lazy argonian guide as well. This one is hilarious and a really interesting idea too and look forward to watching it. Slacks Skyrim knowledge and skill really bring these videos to the next level on top of how funny/entertaining these videos are. Wish I found this guy sooner!!
Finally a well thought out challenge build/run, I can tell you've been really studying this one, sounds like an awesome playthrough, cant wait to watch all of this. I'm planning on doing a similar run of this but my character can only use fists, carry gold and quest items(have to heal myself with the healing powers you already have), no armor or clothing, no potions or food, no unlocking any tree skills, I can use shouts since they get put on you anyway, and I can use the basic spells that I already have on my character at the beginning, but cant buy new ones, and play on legendary, hopefully I'll be doing it on my channel in the future. I've always liked your ideas and playthroughs. Have a great 2020, and great job
I’m not sure if any where says they’re outright the “best” traders but they are definitely well known as being traders and merchants throughout all of Tamriel, it’s definitely weird how speech isn’t one of their skills, feels like a no brainer to me. I guess Bethesda just really wanted to benefit the sneaky assassin/thief type build the khajit follows.
I love runs like this because they aren’t exactly impossibly hard, but the role playing aspects are amazing: “I’ve never liked the people of this land, with their frozen wasteland and angry axe-swinging. I don’t need anything I wasn’t born with, no matter what this prophecy I didn’t want passed unto me says. I’ll grab my daggers, and swing them like a bat out of hell.” -Kat Man Do
We always say that someone has been "Decapitated" when they get their head cut off, but since the brain is in the head and the brain is what makes you 'you', wouldn't that mean we should say "Debodified" instead?
I believe that's a better term, even after being decapitated someone can still have consciousness for a few seconds (from the brain obviously) think that back then some people used to take the head and let the head see the people around watching the execution...
If I remember from other runs you’re able to level sneak close to level 40 through Embershard mine. I just want to comment that I appreciate Slack using other areas to do the same thing it gives a lot of variety
This may be one of the craziest builds yet, can't wait to watch it! ::grabs slurpee and hot dogs:: Oh boy another MajorSlack Walkthrough, hardcore slacker number 1,822 reporting for duty! :D
To all you red pill users - you are making big mistake :) The intro is epic. Contrary to PeeWee am saying 'don't get serious, Slack' This challenge run looks pretty impossible to me. I hope I will have enough time to stick with the series and see Major Slack proving me wrong.
Did i miss the part where he said no abuse of the sneak to 100 leveling on whatever npc you follow ? Or is he just not using that by default, and i do not know his content well enough :O?
Great Concept. I´m looking forward to the Walkthrough. I also loved the explaining of the rules and the Skyrim opening zene ^^ Watched it a few times :D
Have to apologize slack😅, I fell asleep watching this and must have hit the dreaded 👎 on accident, just noticed this and fixed it today! Great work keep it up!
It’s all Slack’s fault that I’m doing a second playthrough! After watching a few MSA series, I’m even playing on legendary! I love watching Slack play the game in ways I would have never thought of.
Kat Man Do is officially the funniest character ever. That pun-tastic intro speech gave me a case of the giggles. Very unique and creative challenge run rules. I think I might check this one out.
I think speech should be race skill for a khajiit. Speech should of been broken up into multiple skill trees like persuasion- intimidate- lie etc. For example Orcs get intimidate as a race skill and can’t be intimidated but you could easily lie to an orc. Lie being a khajiit race skill.
Great name! I think you are either a lunatic or a genius, the jury is still out on that one Rob! After all these years I discover that Khajiiti use their claws, duh! Can you upgrade their power with unarmed I wonder?
Yeah you can get the Gloves of the Pugilist by defeating Gian the Fist in the Ratway (Riften sewers, entrance on the docks below the Scorched Hammer) and you should take a look at the perks on the left side of the Heavy Armor skill tree. ;)
Hey Slack, love the videos man keep then coming. Wow this challenge is bit insane. I mean really...no armor? Someday soon I'm sure you'll just beat Skyrim with only speech. Take care 👍
I love that people are still making content for this game, it's fun to see different types of play when you have 6k hours into the game :) Keep up the work Slack!!!
Thanks for another great Skyrim video, Slack. Really enjoyed your Hearthfire videos. Also, I thought your voice over of the introduction was pretty funny. Looking forward to see more of Kat Man Do. Will he be joining the assassins or thieves, or both?
Bones? No. Wheelbarrows? Definitely. In fact, killed myself with the wheelbarrow in the prison after the forced fight to get the keys on launch day. That experience made me wary of Skyrim physics lol.
just wanted to comment and make sure that you knew that its the weapons base damage that decides how much exp you get for the skill when you hit the enemy and not the damage they take so I'm not certain if dual power attacks are worth it when trying to gain skill levels. Otherwise I loved the video, thanks.
I am sure. When power leveling sneak, a dual wield power attack with daggers is the best option because you can quickly get 3 sneak attacks in before being discovered. Power-leveling Sneak has nothing to do with damage. As for standing dual-wielding power attacks when using the mace, that's not about power-leveling 1H. That's simply about trying to stay alive by killing the enemy as quickly as possible. :)
Hey Slack, Have a friend who got Speech to 100 via incidental purchases/sells and believes making Speech legendary to gain more leveling is still within the Rules of Engagement. Thoughts?
I’m definitely leaning towards legendary speech goes against the integrity of the build and playthrough. Just wanted a second opinion from some fellow Slackers. Thanks!
Although speech isn't part of khajiits skills. It says often in the games lore that argonians are horrible at speech but khajiits are silver tongued and very talented at talking themselves out of tricky situations. So I feel like it should be allowed. Or at least should be one of the fav skills
1st random encounter on first legendary that I lost to-upon getting to the bee camp, a vampire and her death hound. Also-PS4 I've had to work around your methods a little-arachnophobia, the 2 larger spiders coming down whether stealthed or not-its like they tweaked console users to be a bit more challenging.
Also-2 mudcrabs, not 1. Sheesh. Avoiding 5 bad dangers AND comtracting Sanguinare Vampiris before finally getting to Pinewatch amd killing NONE of them.
I love how the khajiit has a different bare handed attack animation. It makes sense that they would open their hand and use their claws. These is the small details that I love when games add.
