I might be the only guy to not play as the stealth archer. Most my builds come to one-handed with shield or one-handed with magic

even in my non stealth archer play through, I build stealth archer to get through the early levels until i could build towards whatever that was xd

I met a guy at the dog park and we started discussing games. He said he played a lot of Skyrim and asked me what my favorite build is. I answered "Everything devolves into stealth archer" and he said "Stealth Archer is my FAVORITE! Are we best friends?!" I got a laugh out of it since he sounded like we were needles in a haystack.

I played skyrim for hundreds of hours and never used an archery class.

@_oblivion_ its not that he became a stealth archer for the hundredth time. its that he decided to make the same class for the 100th time, ive played skyrim like 3 or 4 times and each time i said i was gonna try a different route, i did the same sword and shield build

We all fall into the stealth archer trap sooner or later.

But she didn't ragdoll uncontrollably, clip through a wall, stretch to ten times her original length, then fling into the skybox and fall down hundreds of metres away?

​@@ChristopherHallett Good point! But maybe Matt installed RRF 🤔 He has certainly used mods to improve the textures and normal maps, and definitely installed SMIM.

We have the same opinion, except I am an absolute hoarder who can't run most of the time. I try to stop taking everything that isn't nailed down but I can't.

Unmodded Skyrim is one of the best games ever made. It's amazing people will complain about something they've already played for a few hundred hours and loved.

Episode 200? It won't be Elder Scrolls 6... it will be Skyrim 2 because Bethesda can't get over Skyrim and promised they won't re-release it anymore... so they'll just make a direct Skyrim sequel in Skyrim and delay Elder Scrolls 6 ANOTHER two generations.

Skyrim for Episode 100 feels so appropriate because it's one episode for every rerelease of Skyrim.

Dude, prescription glasses are expensive. Especially for a pair with geometrical shapes like hers! Mine cost me about $500-$600 a pair! Lol, they aren’t cheap!

The bugs are just part of the bethesda experience.. I will say at least when they re-release Skyrim they usually add more content like DLC’s, modding capability, creation club stuff etc... Legendary edition is massive improvement from vanilla Skyrim I played on Xbox360 years ago. Compare this to GTA5, which is virtually the same game, I don’t think Bethesda are *that* bad when it comes to re-releasing Skyrim.

PS19???? Buddy, The PS1 came out in 1994. We're only on PS5, which came out in 2020, but because of the pandemic, and chip shortages STILL isn't in stock, which means for all intents and purposes, the PS5 life span still hasn't even started yet. You might be lucky to see PS10 by 2050.

would you agree that this was the first open world rpg game to "blow up"?

I played it for the first time a few years ago, it's amazing. Obsessed over Morrowind on original Xbox, took a decade off games for grad school and life, came back and Bethesda is still excellent.

Open world games were so much smaller and content empty compared to Skyrim in 2011 and what was to follow like Witcher 3 and GTA5.

... I'm old, Morrowind at 11 years old.

I grew up playing video games in the 80s... the NES wasn't even my first console, it was my second... but I stopped playing games as a teenager in the 90s and didn't get back on board until Skyrim (I've been on board ever since)

Wasn't my first game as an adult but it was the first game my parents thought was an "adult game" that they let me play lol. Skyrim will always have a special place in my heart!

@@12feetup similar story. I had a Sega Genesis and then a PlayStation. I hit my teen years in the early 2000s. Stopped playing games then. Picked them up again when I was 27 in 2017 and haven’t looked back

Skyrim: smart fridge edition

My first playthrough I hit a little over 100 hours before I killed the first dragon outside Whiterun. Let's just say I did that drinking game quest that throws you all the way over to Markarth.. and then I somehow ended up in Riften and did all the main quests for both cities, then decided to go do that dragon quest thing the game was about.

I think I just went out and read a few "necessary mods for Skyrim" lists, installed most of them (that were compatible), and played through it once. ....and yeah, that's an odd gameplay loop if I've ever seen one.

@@kevinschultz6091 that might be a better way to do it! I guess I don't regret it because I had fun researching mods, and it was neat playing through with a lot of gameplay changes and such, but your ROI on your time spent modding was probably way higher than mine.

So true. I do this every year because there's always a groundbreaking mod that comes out and catches my attention. So I end up spending hours updating and rearranging all my mods, Installing new ones and then play for like 10 minutes.

@@JaySwag77 I can only remember a few since last I played was January this year. But off the top of my head were the combat mods from enai that overhauled the spells, perks, and races to make a bigger range of build varieties and improved the actual combat. Dynamic animation replacer, I couldn't explain this one better than the name itself. And the most recent one I loved was Enhanced volumetric lighting and shadows. Also some of the mods that again made me look forward to that were released very recently are two mods called Precision and Poise
