Skyrim with vSync on/off

For people who don't know what are those sounds come from. Those weird sounds are from clutter objects (i.e. platter, plate) start to raging to food stuff above them. Then, it will explode into mother of physics nuclear bomb that make that room into garbage dump in a second after you open random door in the room.

so where is vSync on?

Thanks so much dude I think it's fixed it for me, been plaguing me for years this has, I can finally play properly again

I know a lot of you try turning off Vertical Sync to reduce mouse lag like I did, but I have good news for you. There are a lot of posts and guides on the Internet that tell you how to turn on mouse acceleration, remove the delay when moving in third person, make third person movement feel more precise, and increase the horizontal and vertical mouse sensitivity far beyond the normal limit, including controllers. Basically, if you do all of this your third person and first person movement will: -Be more precise and in sync with your own hand to mouse movement -Be less sluggish overall in third person movement, both keys and mouse -Be at the desired sensitivity and acceleration you want, even double the normal maximum And not only that, but you can remove the one second delay when using keys to move in third person, plus all of this works for people who use console controllers for their games on the computer. It might not feel as precise as when Vertical Sync is off, but I promise you that it helps immeasurably.

I think it only has to do with ambient sounds though, not objects. The objects are only misplaced in your house because thats how skyrim's system works. If you put down an item in your house, leave the house, and enter again, You'll notice that the object will be a bit farther that where it was originally placed.

Apparently in Skyrim, it does, the sounds in the video are props fucking shit through the wall

It could affect the way certain things are calculated per second, and therefore affect things like physics.

@Requiemes I use a program called dxtory, which i also use for taking screenshots and recorder videos.

@thevlaka To get rid of the vsync mouse lag/delay you just need to limit the fps to 59 (if youre 60hz monitor).

@Anthoric So this could be why all of the physics in my house freaked on me, now my house is a complete shit hole

I bought this game on Xbox 360 and Steam, support the developers people. Some developers actually work hard on their games you know and could use all the help they can get. Not sure why people think this game has bad graphics... I personally think they are great for such a big game.

how do you limit fps?

i had some really weird glitching when i had vsync disabled too. Had black bars across the screen at random intervals and I could hear water sploshing when I took steps. I tweaked a littile in the skyrimpref.ini and some settings in my vid card control panel and it seems to have found some stabilization...not sure tbh

with v-sync disabled, when i go in the bannere mare, get 170-190fps when i sit down near that hired follower. everything starts spazzing out big time lol. its glitchy as, i wouldnt disable it, too.

it doesnt give me an option to use Vsync in the options meu, i can set everything but, i can set Vsyn in FO3 but not Skyrim? Screen tearing is terrible with this game so plz help me!

If you disable vsync and lock fps at 60 you won't have the sound issues

it's not the same, you still have screen tearing without vsync enabled even on lower fps

Explain how when my FPS is 100+ i open up doors and shit flies off the shelves at me
