Take serana as follower when u do the quest for molags mace. When i did that and was downstairs at the altar and molag bal spoke serana crawled in fear.
She'll cower and crawl even if you take her there after the quest is over. Not really surprising, considering her backstory, but a cool touch by Bethesda.
Serana can interact with anything an NPC can interact with. She’ll use grindstones, workbenches, enchanting tables, and so on, she’ll even lay down and act hurt if it’s a place where an NPC can do that.
@@captainkarenobvious3087 Yeah it has nothing to do with her backstory. And most if not all of Molag Bal's victims do not care about they assault they went under because the pay offs were worth it at least to my knowledge. And the only one who did care and worry about the assault upon them as far as my knowledge goes was Lamae.
Dervenin was or still is the priest of mania in the Shivering Isles. It would make sense if Sheogorath takes Dervenin with him on vacation, maybe even to bring Sheo back if he gets to distracted (what totally not happend). And the hipbone act as a key to enter Pelagius mind, since it is his hipbone. All in all quite a bit of logic for the prince of madness.
You make a strong case, but I feel like there's something left of the Hero. After all, he's talking about the events surrounding the Oblivion Crisis when you first see him in Skyrim.
@@brianroberts783 Huh, never thought about that. I think he does that because he can't remember what happend before the oblivion crisis, since he became Sheogorath around that time. And for the Oblivion fans.
Hey Nate, I'm not sure if you've covered this in a different video but, Dervenin, the Bosmer from the Sheogorath quest, might not just be a random, mad beggar. He may actually be the High Priest of Mania from the Shivering Isles DLC in Oblivion, this is why he knows Sheogorath, knows how to get to him, and refers to him as his "Master". This would also explain why he would be able to give you Pelgaius' Hip Bone/Pelvis, which is in the Museum of Oddities. He would have access to this due to being one of the High Priests. Love the content! Keep it up!
Skyrim came out almost a decade ago and I still playing it and learning new hidden things. I love this game. Plus modding community is awesome for keeping game fresh till now.
Have a mod on XB1 that lets the Dragonborn becomes a bard. Perhaps that’s a song she can play. How many Songbooks are there. I noticed her Bard Journal doesn’t log the retching netch whenever she plays there
Somewhere on the northern coast of Skyrim, near the Winterhold, there's one whole Mammoth sticking out from ice, with some of the dwarven spears and arrows sticking out of him :)
I'm sure others have posted this but the bit about the cube is mistaken, in Morrowind when you deliver the cube the guy tells you to come back later, the cube turns into a key that lets you explore more of the ruin you found the cube in and he gives you the key which is also the largest key in the game, seriously drop it the thing is huge.
These videos are cool because it’s nice to appreciate the work they put into this game that makes it so we can discover new things for coming up on a decade
Dervenin is one of sheogoraths counts in Oblivion. He's the Count of Madness or somthing. He even says in skyrim when you talk to him. "Please, take pity on an old madman!"
Tbh, I though the painting quote was a reference to Dark Souls “Ashes of Ariandel” DLC. In witch your character would be transported to Ariandel by touching the scraps of a painting (which acts like a portal)
After you complete the quest the mind of madness quest. Don't stick around the house too long. There's a very good chance that if you go into the basement exploring, you'll die, which is what happened to me a few times. Being the thief that I am, the items in the house are free for taking, so... I was looting the joint and as soon as I got to the basement. BAM! I'm dead.
If I took a shot for every way Nate called Skyrim something along the lines of “big” I’d need to get my stomach pumped no matter the beverage because my stomach would just be filled with liquid.
So idk if you found this already, but on my journey to the Dawnguard, I happened across this small house that was completely ablaze. In the middle of all the mess was a burned body holding a scroll to summon a Fire Atronach. It made me cackle.
Wasn’t sure if you knew this yet. But if you choose the imperial side and kill Ulfric, you can see him walking around Sovengard in the Dragonborn quest
You can play Skyrim over and over and still find new things like if you have a mod that gives you hoary nord boots it’s what drogers ware guards will comment on how it smells of death
i'm pretty sure there's a book about the puzzle box in the game i think you can find it in a dwemer ruin : it speaks about the box given to a dwemer master (i forgot his name haven't played the game since ps3) by a elf? or daedra, not sure but the story tells that in that box was the beginning and downfall of the dwemer
@TheEpicNate315 I found a tiny detail in my game!! I'm not sure if you've covered it yet, but if you sit around in the temple of Mara in Riften while Maramal and Dinya Balu are walking around you can overhear Dinya announce her pregnancy while Maramal exclaims that "they said it couldn't happen!" It's also interesting to note that Maramal is a redgaurd and Dinya is a dunmer. You should include that in your next video if you haven't already covered it!
I don't know if I'm just stupid and only found this now after 4 years of playing, but the song "dragon born comes" changes to "tale of tounges" if you have killed alduin, and some of the words will be changed.
Hey Nate the dwemer puzzle box is a hell raiser Easter egg it referenced the puzzle box from the movie my cousin was a part of the dev team and told me this detail
3:16 Near that small icy plateau full of mammoth bones lies the ancient Frozen Mammoth (unmarked location), with two dwarven spears and a few dwarven arrows stuck in it. So, obviously, the Dwemer were hunting them out of Alftand; the Alftand Ruined Tower lies a short distance to the south. elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Frozen_Mammoth
i thought the whole thing about the Dwemer puzzle box was it became a key to unlock the lower levels of the Dwemer ruins of Arkngthand in Morrowind. no mystery really.
The hip bone is rather apt, given that Pelagius was known as "Pelagius the Mad" (though his madness is the subject of another interesting story...). Also, I believe that the name is pronounced with a soft "g" sound. :)
We're never going to let go of the spear thing. Never. Not until we get them back, or Todd goes completely insane from our relentless demand for this one ultimately pretty pointless addition.
When killing the very first dragon, Mirmulnir, did anybody else get the subtitles saying "Dovahkiin, no!" From him? Ive never noticed this before but that's probably just bc im dense af
Every time i enter the Soul Cairn i come across Dialogue from the Ghosts there that commented: " I knew i shouldnt have told Potema she looked fat in that Dress"
CRUSADE THE FUCK OUT OF HERETICS not true. She’s been fus ro dahed off mountain tops and sent to the sky by giants on multiple occasions. She always comes back.
Well then that's not a April fools joke. I'd say name it the same 10 tiny details you may have missed. But make them extremely obvious things like jumping in the water let's you swim! Hitting enemies enough times will murder them to death! If you get hit enough you get murdered to death! And there we go, i just gave you 3 tiny details, you MAY have missed.
Nate: "I'm willing to bet, somewhere out here in the Pale, there is a killer on the loose." Me: *Looks shiftily at the Dawnstar Black Door* Nah mate, no killers here. Whoever did this is long gone..
