We visited Slab City for the first time. We have only heard about the place as being a lawless place. Now we can say that we have seen it in person. Slab City is near Salton Sea. Salton Sea's area is beautiful but it's very toxic. We had delicious Mexican food at Buckshot restaurant in Niland, California. We love the food so much, we went there three days in a row. The Fountain of Youth Hot Spring was so lovely. We loved the hot springs, so we stayed longer than we had planned. Thank you Dian Thomas for inviting us to the area.
