He has only lost twice, to bedman and sol. The bedman loss was to slayers own words disgraceful as he dint warmup and underestimated bedman. And sol he said he dint want to continue as their would be to much destruction (prob destruction of the planet tbh)
@@everforward5561 Yeessss! And if he was around to witness it all, that strongly implies he was Yauske, and changed his name to Nagoriyuki after he "vanished". ;D
hmmm how would that work??. Gabriel isn’t one to hold back like Slayer, but is on par with him. I could see arcsys giving him his one meter system like they did for robo ky, as he doesn’t use magic, but that might be a little strange. I could see him being like a slayer like character with more grappling and multi hits
@@chasestanek430maybe something like KI’s ARIA and the backer concept gameplay for Adam in Skullgirls Gabriel’s health bar being split between himself and a couple of his lieutenants who act as assists/resources to Gabriel himself If a soldier is downed Gabriel loses access to their abilities and effective health, much like if ARIA loses one of her bodies
@SuzakuX The unification and collapse of the heavens says Nagoriyuki. Might be referring to Nobunaga that time too as Demon King of the Sixth Heaven. Though with Slayer saying he turned Nago 683 years ago, that would put Nago as being turned into a vampire around 80 years before Yasuke became Nobunaga's servant. Unless this implies Yasuke already was a vampire during his rule?
@@GilgameshofBabylon That timeline makes the most sense, since in one of the interactions between them, Slayer notes that the path of samurai is a fine one, which implies it's a choice Nago made AFTER meeting and parting with Slayer.
In XRD he did mention that Sol going all out would be a good fight, but he also didn’t seem worried at all so i’d be inclined to believe he’s probably a bit stronger than Sol. Also, since Nago mentioned he stood no chance at all, and Nago is more or less= Sol in this game, i’d say still above those two
*CRAZY THEORY* But Slayer seemed surprised that Nago went the way of the Samurai. Which would mean that he wasnt there to see him do that. And the year in GG is around 2180ish.Slayer mentioned that they first had wine 683 yrs prior which was 1497. But Yasuke hadnt arrived to Japan until 1579-82ish which is like a 82 year difference. Im wondering if Slayer was the Italian Jesuit Alessandro (especially since slayer is more European) that brought them to Japan. Where he fell in love with the culture and Haiku?
@azabache6058 but Chipp is not immortal? Right? Do they both reference that they trained under the same master for their teleport technique? Would that make chip Immortal? or some type of demon?
@Vermazing to me that conversation means one of two things Chip's master is Oda Nobunaga who figured the ki technique that allows a person to have extended life spand and is going by his old alies, something a few characters GG are able to do or Chip's master has carried on these traditions along side the alies
@@azabache6058Oda Nobunaga died in 1582 and we’re in the year 2024, that’s ignoring that the current year in guilty gear is 2187, there’s no way nobunaga was alive to teach chip martial arts, besides i could be wrong but im pretty sure guilty gears lore is the same as our real world history till the year 2000 with Y2K, it’s more likely that the style he taught and practiced got passed down after his death making its way to chips teacher(who while I’m not sure we know his name I do know there is art of him since his death is part of chips story in one of the earlier games)
Damn, the bad taste self-report is wild. Slayers VA knocked it out of the park here. All the characters is GGS are barely held together stereotypes, and slayer is supposed to be the suave gentleman, and the VA sells it perfectly.
